here's how I'd prioritize GSs for Nole in 2025: 1. RG (4th career GS) 2. UO (tying record of 5th tournament title, record breaking 72'nd hard court titles) 3. Wim ((tying record of 8th tournament title) 4. AO (extending record to 11th tournament title, record breaking 72'nd hard court titles) I'd also go for Monte Carlo (3rd annual big 14 sweep) and put it at #2 place after RG. Reason: I doubt anyone could ever top [4th career GS] + [3rd annual big 14 sweep] + [Olympic Gold]
prioritizing RG as being the most physical of the 4 slams due to it being on clay is a bad idea when he is 37 years old. prioritizing the faster courts like AO and wimbledon which requiers less physicality and stamina is the better options
@@juliop-xw1ix Rafa played with grit, that's why he burned out. In the last few years, Nole started to use the slow speed of clay to his advantage. That's the place to take away the sting from Sinner's devastating blows and Carlito's lightning speed.
You're very hopeful, at 38, you seriously think he can win all 4 slams in 2025, when he didn't win a single one, in 2024? He'll be 38 soon, he'll burn out, and Alc/Sinner will tear him, to pieces.
@@pauljohnson6019 all 4 slams in 2025? absolutely not. I just specified priorities. Federer retired at 41. Given that Nole takes better care of his body, there's no reason why he can't push another 2 or 3 years. Also he did say that he's not ruling out the 2028 Olympics, so there's really no pressure.
No, he's done- Sinner is getting better, and Alcaraz, AO is still his strongest surface, but I feel Sinner will destroy him, if he meets him in the finals, or Alcaraz, Clay we know Rafa is favourite, even if he's 50, Wimbledon, Alcaraz has the confidence, to now beat Djokovic in the finals, if he reaches there, U.S. Open, Medvedev/Sinner can beat him now.
I believe it's still early we rule Djokovic completely out of the scenario. All what you said above is correct about the respective players but Djokovic is known to do the unthinkable and defeat the undefeatable, we never know if he defeats Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final next year and wins his 8th Wimbledon title. So yaa we have to see how he performs next year in the starting months and tournaments to frame a conclusion.
@@letstalkktennis Haha, defeat Alcaraz in the Wimbledon next year, at 38? He might not even get to the 2nd week, he might not even play Wimbledon! He tried to do his fake injury tricks, and Alcaraz literally blew him off the court, his dirty tricks won't work anymore, against Rune and Sinner.
If he can reach all the Grand Slam finals at 34 and 36 respectively, he can very well reach again at 38. You see, Djokovic is not a player who can be described or restricted by his age.
@@letstalkktennis Because the players were fragile, and most of his matches, he won because other players didn't have the belief, since Wimbledon 2019, he gave other players mental blocks too, but it didn't work against Carlos, now Sinner got more confidence, there's no way Djokovic will reach finals at Wimbledon at 38, unless eh gets a cakewalk draw, and players pulling out, due to injury, the old f@rt is done.
