Congrats on the new house Mike, looks really nice! Any possibility of a mini house tour next video? Kudos to our Grace for doing such a great job decorating so quickly!! Take a bow next video Grace!! :)
Basil seems to have settled in nicely, even if he isn't always being... Co-Operative. 😉 The only cheaper cola I ever found acceptable was Virgin Cola. Unfortunately they stopped making/selling that, which was a shame as it was often on offer for 50p per 2L bottle.
Most of the stuff in the Coop is quite nice actually. They market themselves as convenience before cost, most stuff in there is above average price wise but you won't have to faff around driving to a big supermarket.
Co Op to me is just alright. If you do your shopping day by day it can be fairly cheap so if you go past one on your way home from work its ideal. Don't think I'd ever do a weekly shop there though. Seems like that would be expensive.
@@epowell4211 Same in England, but the supermarkets like Asda (formerly part of Walmart) have so much more buying power than the co-op, a group of corner shops.
We don't have a local Co-Op any more. They closed about a decade ago, and a "sells everything" Poundland-esque kinda shop took over. The sign used to say "No Body Can Beat Our Prices", so we've been calling it the No Body Shop ever since, even though they corrected it a number of years ago. ... it's quite boring in Little Lever. These are the things that keep us amused.
Welcome back Mike, Grace & Basil... you've been missed! Looking forward to the rest of this week on... congratulations on your new home... looks lovely
Threw me as well, even though (when I lived in Knoxville) I used a food co-op. It was...different. A lot of spices, oils, and grains in bulk, and you were encouraged to bring your own containers.
We used to have a huge co-op,.long since closed. Ground floor had a food court, which sold groceries Inc fresh bread, fruit etc. Department s for clothes and shoes, haberdashery and ornaments. 2 other floors selling bed linen, beds, bathroom products. Kitchen furniture , White goods, TVs , Hi-Fi's , Toys. Even a hair dressers. Used to be my parents go to place for anything, obviously they got a nice Dividend back on those.
What keeps you satiated is not the "stodge" (= carbs / starchy stuff) but fats, protein and fibres (best a combination thereof). Refined carbs like in pasta are digested pretty easily and then stashed away somewhere (in the cells to burn or as fat). The more complex stuff needs longer to digest and gives your body a longer stream of energy. (And not a sharp insulin spike and subsequent blood sugar crash -> hunger)
Hey I have missed you guys.happy days.interestly enough I have moved too.i really hope guys that your move was a hell of a better than mine.what a nightmare! Hope you guys have settled in your new home.congrats to your move! peace and love 💛
Personal favorite for grocery-store cola is Kroger's Big K Cola-O or Diet Cola. They're actually better than name- brands. At any rate, I wish you luck, Mike, and am looking forward to seeing how your week went!
Also the Aldi tuna pasta bake ready meal is so much nicer than the other supermarket offerings despite them all looking exactly the same in the tray. I try to stay away from ready meals when I can but its my comfort meal.
Great to see you Grace and Basil are doing well! congratz on the new house! If i could afford to send you some of my cats newest favorite treats i bet you could do a week on spoiling Basil rotten! I recently discovered what is essentially bonito flakes for cats that are even more popular than temptations in my home now.
Oooohhh, new house, eh?? :D That's awesome, Mike!! I was hoping you'd be back soon but I hope you, Gracie and Basil are doing well in your new home~ ^.^ (hugs) And yayz for another Week On!!
Looking forward to watching these! Congratulations on the new house 🏡 Also.. there are big co-ops but weirdly in the highlands of Scotland.. they’ve got a monopoly on the Isle of Skye etc. 🤷🏼♀️ no other supermarkets for literal miles
I love your new "A Week On", but I am so very, very sorry for the new house! Because I would be devastated on hoovering all those stairs and all the upstairs and downstairs rooms...Oh my god!
Welcome back to a week on ,I’ve been waiting for yonks for another week on, please keep them up as I’ve watched every single one since you stared them x
Co op cola doesn't contain the harmful additives present in other supermarket and brand name cola. It might taste different, but it is totally safe for human consumption.
All the looking around I've done on fullness indicates that fats are broken down much more slowly than carbs. So basically, yeah, butter will keep you feeling fuller longer than noodles.
If you have the time, that tuna bake might be improved simply by oven cooking instead of microwave. This goes for many ready-meals, especially those that have cheese or potato as significant ingredients.
Congrats on the new house Mike, looks really nice! Any possibility of a mini house tour next video? Kudos to our Grace for doing such a great job decorating so quickly!! Take a bow next video Grace!! :)

It's nice to see you on the RUclips again.

In US, in the south, Winn Dixie stores have a really good cola called Chek Cola, it's one of the few really good cheap colas over here
@@PhoenixHealing the peach is my favorite.
Here we have Sam's club or Big K.
Tesco Cheap cola both the diet and original are ok at 50 cent for 2 litre u couldn't go wrong !!

My experience with Co-Op in US was that it was less expensive, as the idea was the co-op would buy in bulk and individuals could buy what they needed.
@@epowell4211 they buy in bulk ? Revolutionary stuff that
@@epowell4211 Same in England, but the supermarkets like Asda (formerly part of Walmart) have so much more buying power than the co-op, a group of corner shops.
I only go if there’s deals on, or I want to pickup a single meal. Lately the pasta bakes have been £3 for a 2 person portion which I think is good
Good luck with the new house. I remember another house in the early videos where Mike would go to his freezer in his garden shed.
Been binging these all day so you cannot imagine how happy I am to see a new one Mike!
Yay! New week on! I was missing your content Mike! Much love to you, Grace, and Basil
Good to see the Peter Rabbit chopping board again

We have got one of those shops locally but we call it "the bucket shop" because it sells dozens of them in every colour displayed on the pavement.
I love the Pizzas at Co-Op so much more than the majority of Supermarket pizzas.
I have missed Basil. He is so much a cat with attitude. Welcome back to you and Grace. Xxx
He's back!! The week on bloke!
Co-op is totally British which is what makes it unique. Expensive but quality.
Man, its gonna take some getting use to seeing you guys in your new house but hey, good on the both of you plus basil!
Welcome back Mike, Grace & Basil... you've been missed! Looking forward to the rest of this week on... congratulations on your new home... looks lovely
Locally a Co-op is a farmers co-op for feed, seed, fertilizer, and chemicals. I was thoroughly confused for a second, haha.
Threw me as well, even though (when I lived in Knoxville) I used a food co-op. It was...different. A lot of spices, oils, and grains in bulk, and you were encouraged to bring your own containers.
Locally for me, Co-op is a funeral home
Welcome back Mike, Grace and Basil. It's been ages - I've really missed you all ! :-)
"they sell everything from butter to funerals" xD omg that was funny :')
Finally the legend himself Mike is back with another week on. I can’t wait 👍

There’s so much butter in croissants, I can’t believe you’re adding more 😄
dry croissants are no fun!
Mind ya damm business
I’m more shocked by the red labelled milk. Isn’t that just chalky coloured water at that point?
🤣🤣 a butter mine too and a hate them cold 🤢 and I agree no jam lol xx
Thank you for a new week on! Hope you are enjoying the new digs!
This is one i've been waiting for!! I was literally thinking the other day this would make a good week on
One day you'll shatter that cutting board with your pizza cutter. MARK MY WORDS!
Welcome back, and congratulations on the new house! Any plans on christening the oven door in this one?

First the return of the Rangoons now the return of Mike J, things are finally looking up after a horrible week ❤
I love it so much when you produce more videos
Loving the socks. Glad there is a new week on x
From butter to funerals had me choking on my brew🤣🤣🤣
So he DID say funerals. I have so many questions 🤣
Week on the co-op and a house remortgage with the coop prices 😮
'From butter... to... funerals' perfect description 😄
im so glad this is back
Wishing you, Grace, and of course Basil the best in your new pad!
Also the Aldi tuna pasta bake ready meal is so much nicer than the other supermarket offerings despite them all looking exactly the same in the tray. I try to stay away from ready meals when I can but its my comfort meal.
I love that you are right up against a wall and just assume that we can tell you are in a new house!

Its good to see Basil again. So, you bought him a new house. Congratulations.
Brilliant series you got here pal
Hi mike welcome back ! Just to let you know the coop does a lovely tomato soup in the chilled section its a tad pricey though
I scrolled through 2 years worth of shite youtube history to find this chanel again... worth it.
Nice to see you again, hope your move went well
Congrats on the new house!

Yesssssss Mike, Grace and Basil is baaack !!
New house could mean new baby 👶 xx great content great to see u 3 again xxx
Co op cola doesn't contain the harmful additives present in other supermarket and brand name cola. It might taste different, but it is totally safe for human consumption.
Air fryer, you need one! Soooo good for heating said croissants☺☺
I work at the Lincolnshire coop and we are slightly more expensive. The croissants you had for your breakfast we sell for £3.10.
Red milk... red MILK... RED MILK. THAT ITS IM OUT... BYE.
RED FRIGGIN MILK
All the looking around I've done on fullness indicates that fats are broken down much more slowly than carbs. So basically, yeah, butter will keep you feeling fuller longer than noodles.
Nice to see you back
Look at the basil 😍😍😍
"they sell everything from butter.. To funerals" 💀
they had huge stores up intil early 90s if i recall

Yes!!!! He’s back.
You did a week on Keto you know fat makes you feel fuller for much longer and carbs dont. So yes butter will have kept you full for hours.
Thank God the chopping board made it to the new house
Just when you need that week on fix and boom yes mike 👍🏻
Glad to see u back Mike! :)
Yaaay !!!! Been waiting for this !!!
I remember when i was young our co-op had these real getto shoux buns and chocolate eclairs that had this hard horrible chocolate on them.
Welcome back, hope you got your coop divi
Congratz on the house! Thankyou for finally doing coop lol I know I’ve asked a lot XD
my cholesterol started to choke my throat when I saw Mike butter up that croissant
Co op is quality, I love it. You and graces new house looks lovely. Congratulations!!
good one, Mike!
Co-op's Philly Cheese Steak Pizza is too die for Mike.
Great that your back 👍👍👍👍
Basel don’t ever leave us for that long ever again I was scared Mike had told you you can’t see us again 😥
You aren't a whiny complainer anymore...nice! Welcome back
YAY BASIL IS BACK.
Last day of close-contact isolation. This comes up to tease me with the things I want to go out and buy
Welcome back!
We say round our way "up the coop boy"
I was just thinking about when a new mike jeavons video would drop!
Yeah so glad your back 🍛🍲🥖🥞🐈⬛🖤🐾
The Co-op is expensive but the quality is decent. Small shops, a bit of everything, staff are usually local folk. Similar to SPAR I suppose.
Woohooooooooo and you're back
You have to try the sticky toffee pudding and vanilla custard 👌🏻👌🏻
That pizza looked yummy 😋 loving the new house 👍
Breakfast kept you fuller because you had two portions compared to the one portion at lunch.
Look very nice the pasta and tuna
Coffins... Co-op do coffins unlike their competitors
Not sure if you’ve done these - but a week on olio or a week on too good to go may be interesting?
TGTG always cancel at the last minute, if they even have anything and Olio's useless as one person will have some stale bread 15 miles away.
It’s been a while. Missed these
