Bizarre how closed minded believers can be. They see only 2 choices. You believe in their particular god or you don't. It's like the possibility of a different god being "the one" never enters their heads. To them, it's not even an option.
Jonathanedward2010 yeah I know! They must have to do the most extreme mental gymnastics to be able to convince themselves that they're the only ones who are right
Be on the super safe side. Believe in all of the stories. Born a Muslim, live as a Christian, go to Mormon waiting room to learn about Jo Smith, reject it and either get reincarnated or go to Kwan Yin's semi-nirvana until time itself ends.
I like your channel. I watched a few of your videos. The content is pretty sophomoric stuff but you have spunk, I like that. I've subscribed and may comment on future videos. BTW, 20+ years as an atheist and now Eastern Orthodox. I look forward to a civil discussion on your next topic.
Well I'm glad you enjoyed them. I'm here whenever you want. I love to talk about religion and no one in my life seems to care LOL. They are all religious, so they're not interested
Some Christians prefer not to confront their faith, they tuck it under the cloak of "absolute truth" which cannot be opposed. I say if one has intellectually and spiritually adjudicated themselves to a particular religion, they must address the vital questions (which they should have done before adhering to their faith...of course with some doubt, that is natural). As Dostoevsky said "Destroy my desires, eradicate my ideals, show me something better, and I will follow you." We are constantly evolving on every level, to remain stale, not to question or doubt is a disservice to oneself.
Funny,no personal attack huh!!! Pascal's Wager, has been around since the 16th century...that wasn't the point,I was trying to convey...guess I was trying to hard to make it simple...I was born Catholic, went to Catholic school...does it make me Catholic...No!!! I'm not necessarily any religion...I am a individual, who rarely discusses religion,my thoughts are this, I don't necessarily believe in one religions God,rather it be Hinduism,Islam,Judaism or Christianity...I believe they all have a common denominator...a creator!!! I believe they are all talking about the same entity ,just have different interpretations, everyone of the religions have a creator,a heaven and a hell, the path it all came to be is altered a little from religion to religion...but still the common building blocks are the same. I believe in the Alpha and the Omega...God...regardless which religion, he leans toward. My actions in life is my faith,my church is in my head, my congregation is family and friends. The ancient definition of "church" is ekklesia which means "the called out ones." So I reach for and surround myself with people, and by knowing them and having a relationship with them in a positive way and with love, they become my church..."the called out ones." I don't wager my faith,it has been the same for 47 years, it just becomes stronger with life experiences...Everything has a , cause and effect...so only thing I wager on is my "cause" will have a predominant positive "effect" on my life and the people that's was in my life, when my existence on this dirtball called earth is over...
steamer701 I know this was absolutely not a personal attack and I'm sorry if you took it that way. I don't think that religious belief in any incarnation is ever a good thing, but with that being said I respect everyone's right to believe what they want

Beej Price no thanks LOL. That would require me to go to way too many church services, and one is bad enough

The bigger question you should wrap your head around is this,
without God is there evil? or can morality exist without God?
