Car rental, fishing trips, mountain climbing, boat racing, cycling, to name a few. Simply having a gorgeous landscape will not entice visitors to visit. especially in a country that has long been portrayed negatively by the mainstream media. Ethiopians must strive hard to change the image of their country from a war-torn, poverty-stricken, and unclean country to a lovely and safe place to relax and enjoy a holiday. It is a fantastic start, but there is still a lot of work to be done before it becomes a successful holiday resort.
Is the way to wonchi safe for travel? We are many who wants to come and visit and contribute economically to the developmenet of the area. But, is it safe to travel the area? bless ethiopia.
Why is the resort constantly empty? It requires extensive advertising in the international market, as well as the training of local employees in world-class customer care. In such a competitive market with many well-established holiday resorts, Ethiopians need to offer something exceptional to attract tourists from all over the world.
Most of us living in Europe and the United States are accustomed to the most beautiful holiday places such as Lake Lucerne in Switzerland, Ticino, Capri, Amalfi Coast in Italy, the French Riviera.... therefore a holiday in Ethiopia should offer a similar experience to tempt us.
The potential to transform it into something so exquisite is immense. Residents could beautify their surroundings by planting a lot of flowers and hanging flower baskets inside their homes.
