When do you get your seat assignment? In what step? I have a booked flight with a third party but no seat assignment? Im a little nervous about not having that.
You get a seat assignment during check-in. You may check-in online or offline at the airport counter. Or you can choose a seat in advance via the booking management page. Go to your carrier's website and find online check-in or booking management. To access either of these, find a booking reference or ticket number in your email confirmation. Usually, online check-in becomes available 24 to 48 hours before departure. If you check-in at the counter, they may assign a seat at random.
Great explanation, unfortunately only half of the truth. What the video explains are complex legacy processes that the airline industry suffers under for the last 3-5 decades. Modern processes look entirely different, but I agree that the aviation business is still dominated by these antiquated processes that are shown in the video.
Beautiful intro to the process.
Amazing content and great video! Keep it up with the good work :).
