So, in her own words, she was uncomfortable when everyone started crying. I haven't played that show's DVD for a few years; so it was nice to get it out to listen to it & make sure I quoted her correctly. They were great together!

Cher said the one she misses & loves the most is Sonny & "if he were to walk through that door right now, we would be Sonny & Cher again in about 2 seconds".

The love they shared for each was a reality that never lessened because of their divorce. They both needled each other, but did find success and happiness without each other. We the audience loved them because they loved each other. That was the biggest draw to their popularity. The very real comedy, talent was the icing on the cake.
