- On the afternoon of June 24, a man wielding a knife attacked the school bus of a Japanese school in Suzhou, injuring a Chinese woman severely, and wounding a Japanese woman and her child. This incident is the second malicious attack on foreigners in China within two weeks, following the knife attack on four American scholars in Jilin by a Chinese man.

These are NOT isolated incidents. Knife attacks happen ALL the time in China. China Fact Chasers did a good video on this topic.
What's true is that since the number of foreigners is dropping in China both for work and tourism, the number of attacks will go down against foreigners. However what the CCP never talks about is just how bad knife attacks are in China, and you never hear about them when it's Chinese citizens who get stabbed, because you know, the CCP.

The end of WW2 is now, by next year, 80 years behind us. Of the decision makers back then, that instigated the war, none survive. Those that were adults at the beginning of the war are new over 100 years old and are quickly dwindling. Those aged in their 90s had no say in the decision and anyone younger than 90 years old had little to no say in the war. While there are certain things that teaching the history of the war could be adjusted in Japan, they are nowadays a completely different type of people, compared to back then. Attacking anyone is already questionable, but attacking those that weren't even born when that war happened, for example the mother and child as reported in this video, is downright disgusting.
What's even worse, is the irony, that the CCP could only take over China, because the US defeated Japan and the Kuomintang did the majority of fighting against the Japanese and where, therefore, depleted, when Mao made his move.
There are still too many people both caught up in the past and not learning from it. The CCP is certainly one organization that loves to foster hate, instead of understanding and reason.
The only places in Japan that teach revisionist history to students are far-right private schools that most people avoid but seem to make all the news. Japanese students learn about the war in the same way that German students do - by going over in detail, over long periods of time (in JHS and HS) about the details of the war crimes committed and the national shame it brought to the country. The notion that they don't learn about the war is a lie.

The big irony is that Mao Zedong was grateful for the Japanese invasion. At the time, the PLA was on its last legs, but when the Japanese invaded, the Nationalists had to divert their efforts.
