    I have a 2013 370z and the car is an absolute blast to drive. I've had it almost a year already and I still can't get over how great it looks and how much fun it is. I still find myself turning back to look at it, usually twice, each time I park it and walk away. You Mustang fans can boast all you want about your car, but don't knock the Z until you've driven one.

      @z06dave 9 лет назад +6

      Well said, Mustangs have character and retro image but the Z is a drivers car that also has character and a retro image. It's fast, it's lairy and great to drive and impeccably reliable. I just picked up a 350z after owning an Astra VXR for two years and I can't believe the feeling. On paper they are similar in most respects but nothing could be further from the truth once driven. I aspire to get a 370z nismo one day! I hope Nissan keep up with the Z cars.

      Edward Collins I had very limited options when it was finally time to buy a sporty daily. I found a previously damaged g37s ( I have a son)
      I look back at that car every time i park it. Every 30yr old girl and her boyfriend has a camaro or Mopar around here. My car is a diamond in the rough.

      +Dave Checkley Yes mate, I owned a tt 225 running about 300 bhp, now have a 370z gt ultimate, cant get over the difference, the speed is insane, the pulls from 70 are just jaw dropping, and its just monsterous!

      +Edward Collins As a Mustang owner I still love the 370Z. It's a driver's car and it's wonderful. I love the way those 6 cylinders sound. But sadly, they're expensive as hell. And they're getting pretty outdated in power and features.

    • @UnseenSpirit
      @UnseenSpirit 8 лет назад +1

      +Jimmy870 I suspect Nissan will soon update it. They wait a long ass time to update engines etc... But when they do, they will be ahead of the game for a few years.
      I'd love one too, but they are expensive in the UK. Mustangs are rare here too, but loads for sale with very little miles. I suspect that the UK weather means the stang is too dangerous

    I recently got a 2019 370Z sport coupe with a black exterior and interior and the 6-speed manual. It's a blast to drive, and that's coming from a guy who used to drive a Porsche.

    Folks, there wouldn't be another classic like this. I searched many sports cars to be my last one (I am in my early 70's), I am not a rich person either, but after looking at a long list of today's sports car I could not find anyone better than 370 Z. Even though it is considered 10 years old design, but that is precisely what makes it precious. If you are a young person then you may have difficulty in understanding me. There was a time when a young person wouldn't be caught dead in these ugly vans, SUV's, crossovers and what not. Nissan is on of those companies which has produced classics after classics, but to my chagrin that may end now. In 2019 only ~2500 370 Z were sold, that means it is an end of an era. Blood in the veins of people is turning green instead of RED. Last time I bled it was red. I am SO LUCKY to get on of this jewel, I do not regret having a Hellcat Red Eye, a Viper, a Shelby 350, an Alfa Romeo or a Corvette. This baby beats everyone when it comes to value, which car under 30K is a head turner? NONE.

    I agree my 350 felt more responsive and gave me more overall feedback. But the added grip and power makes up for it.

    I recently bought one, I was on the edge because of the 2 seater, small car (Im a tall guy), and small trunk space. Ended up getting it anyways and honestly I could not be happier. I think if I had gotten anything else, and then drove a 370z I would have been highly disappointed. If you like RWD want a beautiful head turning powerful car, get the Z. Who cares about trunk space, can always attach a roof rack and ski box (have not tried yet but I think you can).

  • @FairladyS130
    @FairladyS130 4 года назад

    Unfortunately the 370Z's promise never transferred into racing wins, it's just that the chassis and suspension don't quite work together as they should. Perhaps because the chassis was a parts bin job which of course keeps costs down.

      Why? That's about the same as a Boxster or Cayman. Two of its biggest rivals. The equivalent BMW is slower and so is the Audi TT. This car is a machine, once driven those numbers are irrelevant. It's fantastic

    Removing the suspension bar that went through the boot did decrease the handling of the car. Nissans hand was forced I guess because everyone hated it so much but it was there for a very good reason.

    • @Wrenchingandnursing
      @Wrenchingandnursing 8 лет назад

      Yeah I wonder how well the stock engine handles a small turbo, you could really spice up this car for cheap I bet. Hell get forged cams, pushrods, pistons and cylinder walls. Oh boy this could be fun.

    • @dustybryant9049
      @dustybryant9049 8 лет назад

      I wouldn't, the compression ratio would be too high, you might get away with a low boost setting or severely retarding the timing on stock but if you're going to boost it, do it right the first time and rebuild the engine with the right internals say 8.5 or 8.8, still too costly for me to want to mess with but best of luck to the rest of you.
