    fyi.... when you put hardware bolts on threw your fairlead, the lock washer is always to go on the side of the nut. you put it on the front side by the bolt head. the pressure from the lock washer is what keeps the nut from spinning off and coming loose.

    anyone know the real difference between this and the WARN evo 8-10 winches?? Because it seems to me those WARN winches in the 500 dollar range are probably made in china just like this winch is, its possible the same exact facility as in most industry (just re-package and re-brand for maximum profit) I know the (Made in USA) WARN winches will run you 1500-3000 dollars, so I'm wondering IF I'm going in this price range is it better to just get a SmittyBilt chinesium winch? or go with the WARN evo8 or evo 10?

      Kenneth Halverson Nice work. I have a problem I need to extend those cables 2 to 3 feet extra will I cause any difficulties or problems electronically by doing that? My 2019 f150 Will have a hidden winch mount behind the bumper there is so many plastic guards in the front grill area that I have to mount the solenoid for the winch in a remote location. Just wanted your opinion on extending those cables. As long as the cables are the same gauge wire etc.

      As long as you use the same size cable. All should be good👍😁

    So there are two "A" wires that go on the same post?

    • @AirsoftDelta18
      @AirsoftDelta18  5 лет назад

      correct. the second "A" wire that comes from the body is the ground wire

    Where is the next video?

    • @AirsoftDelta18

      due to un-controlable circumstances i was unable to make the second video. however the installation is very straight forward after what is completed in the video. it simply mounts to your winch compatible bumper with four bolts from the bottom. then you attach your power & ground directly to the battery. then proceed to feed the winch cable through the fairlead onto the drum then wind it up.

    How much do you think the winch itself weighs?

      I would say a rough estimate is about 20-30 pounds
