The best part of this video was you looking at the camera cleaning the lens with your shirt LOL he's a cleaner mama he's a cleaner, Steve you are the best always make my day.
I would have used a female threaded copper fitting to make the connection into the house rather than just soldering the interior copper pipe directly into the frost-free faucet. That way if the faucet just replaced does need to be replaced, it can be done by simply unscrewing the old faucet and screwing in a new faucet.
Steven, I think you have more fun at work than most others. Hard to believe with your talent that you go out on faucet replacements, etc... but hey, so long as you are enjoying yourself.
Some hose bib replacements can be a pain in the ass... especially those frost free ones he has to install up north. Down here in SC we rarely have to deal with them except on commercial jobs
@@Scott-eo7lj there are ALL like that here in northern Nevada.. and there are ZERO basements. Crawl spaces aren't tall enough to sit up... so, it's all sweating joints from flat on your back. Loads-o-Fun!
Wow that house has 4 of those. We only have one on our single family house it's verrryy annoying we had to use a splitter to have a hose real for the front and back
What amazes me, is how many people don't realize how dangerous it is, and actually illegal to drive a vehicle with a dog in your lap, or around the driver's seat. #1 there is a law that dogs need to be secured with safety harnesses in the back seat, or passenger seat in vehicles with no rear seating. #2 it's just as bad as driving with a child in your lap, and unsecured. You can cause accidents from distractions. And, the point which should be pressed for dog lovers who won't listen otherwise, is that in the event of a serious accident the dog can be severely injured or die from not being secured Not to mention in the event of an accident or emergency, first responders may be attacked by the dog causing time delays which can mean a matter of life or death for the owner. Or the dog may run out into traffic and get hit. Of course, it's yet just another law which isn't enforced on our roads these days. But I can't understand the mentality of people who do this in the first place and just think it's fine. 🤦
Steven I love your videos and I want to thank you for this one in particular as it helped me today. I could hear your voice in my head as I replaced my 25 year old spigot. Thanks man.
Do you do faucet repairs during the Covid-19 quarantine? I have a 25-30 year old outdoor faucet that wouldn't turn off. I removed the stem and found that the head of the screw holding the stem gasket in place was simply gone, thus causing the gasket to come off the plunger step. Tried to drill out the broken screw, but no luck. Filled a new hold on the plunger and found a screw and gasket th add t fits (and is tight) for now. But need a replacement faucet. I dont trust the riggingnIndid, even though it's working for now. Eeek. I am NOT a handy man, I'm a programmer! Great video, by the way. Watch out for those Cave Crickets! Many thanks.
Hey Steve masshole here. What brand frost spigot you use that don't leak? I do allot of pressure Washing around the south shore most always leak man! Have a good one.
I got called to a house once they said it was broken couldn’t get water out so I went in basement found the water line so it was actually hooked up but I could not reach it without taking apart ceiling underneath. So I asked again they said they can’t turn it on so the handle was stuck a little cause they don’t use it often so they couldn’t turn it
Good vid Stevie Boy ... Has anyone heard anything from Michael Lee ? Haven't heard from him in a while ... Just wondering .... Miss Molly looking cute as ever ...

The way this guy talks. He was born to be a plumber!

Question why not put a female at the end of the copper pipe so next time it needs to be replaced you can just twist it off instead of cutting

Another great video. Watching your plumbing skills and have a few laughs. Life is good ; )
Nice job Steve! Always nice to see Miss Molly, she's a lover Momma!
Why does everyone cut the pipe instead of just trying to unthread the old one?
Great job as always, miss molly not only started barking, she let you know who’s boss!!!
Wait...flex hoses that don’t leak? Or any hose I should say that doesn’t leak? Amazing!
Leaks are part of the job momma, I've had plenty just doing DIY work. If you don't get leaks you don't do any jobs.
Bro, what are driving? What ever it is I need one! Let me know ASAP
" I thought you don't bak" (love your noo yok accent) @13:27 Dog baks!
Fogged up the lens and I missed all the action. haha. Nice fix Steve

Steve, like those bleeders, to me nothing like a good solder job!!
Are you worried about soldering two different metals together?
Pull the guts before you solder so you don’t melt the seals
Should have taken the washer out before soldering
I thought you were from Mass. Nice videos keep up the good work
I found this type of forced to be the hardest one to figure out which parts to buy eventually I did but what a pain in the ass
Nice dog

he had cancer.... not sure how that turned out for him
He passed away a couple months ago
Steve Rosswog 😞He was a nice guy. Used to comment all the time on here. Hopefully he’s in a better place now.
For some reason my hose bib is 1 inch any idea why?
its probably 3/4 female pipe thread
If they're decades old they need repacked or replaced.
all fine and dandy now isn't it with an unfinished basement...
I have two faucets in need of replacement.... Do you ever get to Chesapeake, Virginia?? haha Great video Steve!!!
Molly is very sensitive about her Chewbacca feet!
