@@epistarter1136 To wavebounce with Chrom, Roy, Lucina, and pretty much most other characters, you start by inputting side B in any direction and then immediately changing it to the opposite direction before the whole move actually comes out. If you want to do the one that turns you around for movement on platforms do run off side b facing whatever direction you’re facing, then you move the stick to the opposite side to get the wavebounce. If you want the one you can use for combos or baits face forward but side B the opposite direction of your character and immediately move the stick to the opposite side (which would be the way your character was facing from the beginning)
I think Chrom is the most terrifying character in the game, for both players lol
I agree as a Chrom main especially against DK. You body them and then die at 0 bc you got grabbed or put off stage

I literally thought this dude was a meme at first but his solid win on Kola has me convinced that we finally have good upcoming Chrom main that we’ve been waiting on for so long since Rivers hasn’t really been showing up lately.

I think Lavish hit some mental fatigue as it went on. Feels like I see that with a lot of people including me. Your brain just starts to get tired and you end up throwing out moves a bit randomly. Lavish was sooooo snappy early on.
Yeah this game takes a lot of mental focus especially at this speed at high level play
@@LumboDumbo it's even more obvious in melee. Player explodes out the gate and then their brain gets tired and it's like a cpu was subbed in. But you can see the potential

I love lavish playstyle, I just feel like he fishes for combos way too much. Always looking for nair combos or full hop fair to get something started. He sometimes needs to step back and play more neutral with short hop fair and down tilt, as well to play more reaction based. He would beat my ass tho.

If chrom had a recovery like cloud where you have to press b twice to come back down, he would be the best sword character in the game. Its the only thing that gives roy the edge over this character.

9:55 Lol windy hill makes it sound more fun then the aggressive themes. I think such themes should be played more so the people can relax and perform better

@@Contrary22 I think that’s just cause lavish plays a lot more aggressively than rivers, rivers plays more calculated, and against kola he kinda just got ran over, plus I think rivers has much better results with chrom than lavish does, respect to both players tho, lavish chrom is cold

First hit of Side B is unsafe on hit till way past sudden death percentages, its just a good mixup on opponents that you know they wont mash attacks out of hitstun due to the low hitlag of the attack making it hard to react, also all 4 Marth derivatives have it

Which means he probably won't adapt his style to beat top players anytime soon. Rip.
Really. When did he say that? Doesn’t sound like something he’d say. Edit: nvm found it. I mean in that context I see what he’s saying. Vs Chrom you should be like that. And he DOES get a lot of kills that other Falcons just wouldn’t get. He just needs to understand that he can’t do that in every MU, and he has to mixup when he does it vs top players because they just adjust when he does it every time (which he basically does).
