Glad to see you back. Those calipers are well worn out on that side. I just had rear Rotors and new Pads installed on my 07.5 2500, believe it or not those pads (Hawks Heavy Duty) had close to 180,000mi on them and they had just started to make noise. I had the front pads changed out at the 150,000mi mark, but I'm going to have the front Rotors replaced by the end of this month. Now I have to change out the Oil Cooler, and Water Pump next. It's always something but at least it's just general maintenance things that finally wear out after 280,167mi.
I was gonna say routine parts like water pumps, alternators, brakes etc is just part of the process. Sucks u gotta change your oil cooler tho shouldn't be having to change that unless it's clogged up really bad.
For the future or anyone else, replacement calipers often come with brackets. To save time you could of swapped out them too, but of course for more money.
I feel your pain on the brakes! I just did them on my buddy's F250, and both rears had a seized pin, and one front I was able to replace. Local shop here didn't sell brackets alone, so we did rear calipers too. I think the rotors he bought were a little big, because they rubbed and grooved one of the calipers from rubbing. Hoping it all comes back together for you!
Also just did my Carli lifetimes and Spicer ujoints on the front axles... bent my harbor freight press on the U's... Took me 7 hours for passenger, 5 the next day for driver. So smooth now though. This weekend is shocks all around and moog steering linkage, so I don't have to do all of the tierods individually. Love all of the work you're putting in!
It sucks when it's goes like that but it's better when new parts are installed and u know it's good! And u did a lot of work, nothing wrong with it taking longer it happens, part of the game haha
Thats the thing the pin had so much Corrosion built up it would be way too much work getting them out. For 80 bucks got 2 new ones swapped in. Works good now haha
O perfect I just did all mine got a whole tub of the special orange grease packed every hole I could good to see you posting again keep it in the strait six because all those other guys swing both ways brother

Yea I was aware of that. These calipers are fine no need to change it if it isn't broken. Changed the brackets, pads and rotors. Works like a charm 💯

You should be able to pull back the rubber on the slide pin and spray it and or soak it in diesel to break it free
