Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation Euclid Class object, SCP-693 Knotty Stalker Animation.
SCP-693 is a series of 18 cm humanoid dolls, each one made from a single strand of string, with beads of onyx for eyes. SCP 693 reacts as a normal string doll until such a time as a piece of hair from the head of a still living human being is placed in a loop of its string, at which point, the SCP693 doll begins to move of its own volition, portraying the current actions of whoever it is attuned to.

I think that's the point. This SCP wouldn't work on people who are mentally healthy or have a good support structure. People with acute anxiety, depression, suffer from delusions, or are just lonely outcasts would be incredibly susceptible to this kind of manipulation.
Plus it takes a certain kind of person to believe that you're entitled to another person's affections oh woe is you if only you could invade their privacy and lie to them so they would like you back

@@genoisapileofrottenashes5282 For the most part in television uses something that is known as "Hollywood voodoo" which is similar to dolls where you take the item of a person, wrap it on the doll, and anything that happens to the doll affects that victim. I am guessing that your confusion is because this "type of voodoo" is completely different and separate from the religions that are practiced in Louisiana, Haiti and currently in Benin (which is called Vodun). Though there are some merchants that sell these dolls to gullible tourists.

I believe that you are one of the best SCP animation channels out there. You don’t skip any details, you always have an interesting story and you don’t skip on the gore and horror. You don’t make these things for kids like a lot of other SCP animation channels do. Thank you for the wonderful videos. I like how he sticks with smaller lesser-known SCPs so he can hit the video mark, keep all the details, and give the full story, unlike other channels that think they can dumb down SCP-049 to 5 minutes.

There is a saying: Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. The Knotty Stalker is one of those examples. ESPECIALLY since it lies to those who own them, and can animate like Toy Story rejects, or sadistic sackboys.
Admittedly, the little skit with the Knotty Stalker at the end was pretty cute, even though we know it will lie to us eventually

How effective will they be if the victim is made aware of their properties? If the victim knows the doll will be unreliable at a certain point, will the doll be able to convince them?
The owner would pull out the hair so the doll will desync. From the containment incident the doll will then loop former owner's death when not observed but act like a normal doll when observed.
So relatively safe until the informed owner discard the doll or lost it. Then if some uninformed person got the doll they'll be dead.

Does taking the hair out and putting a new sample from the same person reset the process? If so could you collect a bunch of strands and have a reliable source on what is happening to them. If so that would make a great tool for monitoring D boys in places that cameras always lose connection, unless there is a range to the dolls of course
The dolls would still lie, though.
I believe the dolls simply act out another person's actions if the said person's hair is the same color as the hair of the desired person. That might be why the victim died: she was watching a different person's actions through the doll.

#idea Possession swap. Maybe the reason why they're made. They need to embodied a living soul to create more which is maybe why a new one is made at their deaths. So each instance there should be two dolls. Maybe more when new owners commit suicide or die for no appeared reason.

I think the element that really elevates these videos far above the other channels is that Dr. BoB presents the SCP's in their own context, often even as innocent or curious, before letting the story unfold to its gruesome conclusion to fully reveal that creepy undertone that makes many SCP's so scary. The problem with the website is that it just lists what SCP's are and how to contain them in a dry manner.
This channel brings them to life by starting with a situation in which the SCP enacts its influence on the world first, and then comes the analysis. Also, the narration is spot on, the voice is analytical, dry and emotionless. Dr. Bob can narrate terrible things in a manner that makes believe he's seen much much worse and isn't phased by some funky death-doll anymore. It's so good that you actually form a sort of image of him, using SCP-693 as a fun toy on himself is a good example of just howmuch of a veteran he is.
It's probably also good that he picks SCP's that all make some internal sense. There's the famous SCP's, the unfamous ones and the stupid ones. So far, he's managed to dodge all those last ones which is a big plus. He really seems to get why SCP's work as a concept.
If you're looking for feedback, I doubt there's much to offer, perhaps you could expand the music scores? The tunes you have are downright evil but we hear them a lot, some SCP's might merit a new tune every now and then, time permitting?

the factory is one of the options for designation SCP-001, acording to one of the timelines, the doundation has been created in the factory by one of the former workers after the original owner of the factory has died after the roit
It's a HUGE narrative, introducing stuff like Fae, the origin of the Foundation and other organizations, and the question of how they acquired the Faeries.

@@dentu3885 SCP-096 has been overdone and is a long overrated SCP. Dr. Bob as excplicitly explained in his earlier videos that his focus is on making videos on the underrated SCPs that are still good, and deserve more attention. Why would you want to be SCP-096 for the hundreth time, anyway? I get that it's a good & scary one (heck, it's a favourite of mine, too), but it gets boring seeing the same thing over and over again.
Something I do want to know about this SCP is what would happen if the Build-A-Bear/ SCP - 1048 used one of the puppets as a material for one of its bears now that would be scary

Same 24 years and still can't get a date, granted I've asked 5 girls out in that time who were all clearly out of my league, should probably lower my standards a lot more. But I don't feel like it, I mean sure it hurts when you feel like a pathetic loser that everyone hates, but at the same time it's better than being desperate and rushing into a Relationship that you aren't happy with or if the girl turns out to be crazy. Though I think even through patience I still have zero chance.
