Love the presentation. Nearly the whole playfield is seen, and at 60 fps, the video is smooth! Have to get used to how the flippers are seen, really weird lol.
This game doesn't get enough credit sometimes, I feel. It's a really great game, and while it may not be as deep as TSPP and LotR, it's plenty enough for the game to not get boring quickly. The light shows and flasher effects are fabulous, courtesy of Louis Koziarz who did NGG, which had the same kind of effects on it. Pat Lawlor did a stellar job on this game, and I have great hopes of his next masterpiece at JJP. P.S., have you ever reached Frog Frenzy? (Score all six super jackpot values and then get another to start it).
Yeah, Ripley's is a great game. I do wish there were a few adjustments in minor scoring features just to give myself something extra to do for fun, but overall it's a great playing machine that requires a decent bit of skill and control to make the most of. Frog Frenzy? Uploading a video as I type this that may or may not have something to do with it.. ;)
@@MoonlightMirage The game is programmed to make it seem like it's bugged. But it's not. Other games use the same gimmick if you do something difficult, like in Scared Stiff when you get to the wizard mode.
Just got this machine and the high scores are set really high. How can I put them to zero so that my highest scores are saved? I went into standard adjustments and set them all to 0 but it still didn’t change them
I don't remember, I no longer have a Whitestar-based Stern. There should be options in general settings to set the default leaderboard scores. Still, you need to wipe the scores/do a full reset on everything first for that to make a difference.
i once played this at the Ripley's Odditorium in Toronto back in 2008
This is how you make a pinball video, great work!
Thanks! I appreciate it.
4:58 Crush that Jackpot! LOL!

Thanks! Glad you dig the format.
Just DON'T mess with that idol!
excellent flipper work!
Thanks a lot!
Managed to achieve Frog Frenzy earlier today on stream. Here's a video of that stream archive: ruclips.net/video/9RzfYD9Qa_s/видео.html

Heard that you can make the Frog Frenzy mode of the machine malfunction or something after getting a lot of Jackpots - is that true?
I'm not aware of a glitch. When you get to Frog Frenzy, the machine acts like it's glitching, but that's intentional.
@@AKMPinballVideos Intentional glitching? Dang, what causes that
