- This is gameplay from the Diner pinball machine made by Williams in 1990. First game is in a lit room, second game is played in total darkness. Table has been fully converted to led lighting. The clock in the back glass was spinning backwards at the time of this filming, but that has since been fixed. Also the blue led's on the lower playfield look very subtle in person, but on video they look very strong probably due to how the camera sensor captures blue..

I remember Diner Pinball! My local arcade had this. I love playing it. The music, the sounds of the customers, (they became annoyed if you didn't serve them quickly enough.) the "NUMBER ONE!!!", "ORDER UP!!!", and multi-ball combined to make this a very memorable experience for me. I easily spent a lot of money & time playing this game. No regrets!

I never would have imagined pinball machines being filmed and uploaded in this clever way. Great footage and production! I'm no good at these games so it's neat to see them in action and be able to hear all their sounds. Thanks for posting these!
Thank you, I'm not very good at them either :) Main problem with this view is it was hard to play because a tripod was where I'd normally stand, so I was off to the side a bit which made it tougher to play.

Thanks! I used a 4K Sony AX100 to film the game playfield, and a Sony A7S to film the backbox area.
I loved this game when I was a kid. My local pizza shop had it.

Used to play this at my local laundromat back in 1993. Sadly, it went up in flames a few years later with the laundromat.

Why is the play field so much darker the 2nd game?

I wonder if you could record sound from tapping into the left and right speaker outputs with a resistor in line so it isn't as loud. I don't know what voltage the speaker output peaks out at though.
+RealityStudioLLC yeah, I did that once to tap into the speakers but it still was too loud and wound up making my ears bleed profusely.
I haven't seen this machine since 1992.

That rainbow puke crap looks hideous. Look at 9:31 Colored LEDs in the general illumination looks ghastly.
Did you buy this machine because they are more common than space shuttle even though 3,000 of these were made and 7,000 space shuttle machines were made. Well this one is younger though.
