I love your work Mike and you are sorely missed . . imagine watching this fine figure of man smashing these long drives in his hey day, reckon he would have put alot of these young guys too shame!
1974 National Senior Open? Ha no. However, his playing partners, including PGA Champion Chandler Harper were interviewed about the drive. They had a gallery of a hundred or so people.
Love Mike...but slow motion swings have never meant a thing to me when the teacher is trying to put himself in slow motion. It looks NOTHING like his actual swing in actual slow motion.
Lovely demonstration of TGM swing with a bit of added rotation for power. I would have love to see him hit balls at any age, really!
Your best video ever
Great video! Thank you very much for sharing 🙌
Cheers Mads!

Great video. Desert Rose is now called The Club at Sunrise it was refinished and reopened
I hear a lot of the holes got rerouted? So the 14th 450 yard par 4 is probably gone?
Anyone know where the video of Mike demonstrating the short game in this same shirt? Cant find it anymore.
I should have that entire video published on my channel.

Drive for show, putt for dough. He wouldn't have put the 40th finisher on the list to shame. Today's golfers are incredible.
thanks Steve. BTW I am not getting your notifications, perhaps contact YT about that
does anyone have the actual footage of his 515 yd drive?
