When ISLY started my first instinct was to be sad because of the scene it plays alongside, but once I took a moment to just listen to it without attaching the context, I realized it really is an incredibly relaxing song. I feel like that's true of a lot of songs from Doki Doki; aside from Sayo-nara, most of them are either very beautiful and calming or just absolute bops. None of them falls flat, though, in my opinion.
this is so good. would you ever consider making a slow version of this? it’s so short i want it to be longer. and i think slowed reverbed could be really calming
