I completed the main questline, did two fishing spots and one song. Then I sat on stage when someone (or a bot I suspect) played the song on the stage and never made a mistake and maxed out the faction after 90 minutes. I knew they would hotfix it. But given that I maxed out the faction last year and AGS deleted my faction from that, I have ZERO regret on doing the Tipping Trick this year.
It's 10% higher chance to catch fish instead of trash from event hotspots (which have a 30% chance by default). I haven't verified with Mixologic, but I'd assume it has a similar impact when open water fishing wiht bait
Hoping they boost the coin gain later in the event. Fishing and playing songs just isn’t cutting it. Caught a good number of fish over an 1-2 hrs to net 1 item…
Yeah I think the overall rate is pretty brutal considering how much stuff is in the event! Especially if you wanna craft some housing items too. It should be a bit better once they bring some nerfed version of the yaaah song back (probably with the original intended cap of 3x per day), because those are a lot of guaranteed premium tokens!
"Hotspots have a 30% chance of junk" I don't see how that is possible, I've never received junk and I don't use bait at hotspots. I've done a lot of fishing during these events.

Where do you even get the bait? - I assume now that fishing is the most efficient method for tokens and rep as the others were nerfed?

Not trying to be dumb but what do you mean? I still can’t perform on stage at the fair to try for title or tokens cuz someone is always there
After I play the song the games shows that I got tokens. Why is it I only have 1 premium token? They are not in my inventory and this is bugged

I’ve farmed over 8000 tokens, don’t think there’s anything faster than it was on stage 😅
You'd still have to sit there for an insane amount of time to get 8k tokens either way tbh
