      this is best open ended i believe, since some viewers may be watching with a set theme already in mind, or with a character list they’ve chosen either from a guide, fiction, or original creation.

      You can only ever truly know if it will work by taking the leap and hosting your game! It's always a bit nerve-wracking, but it helps if you have someone you can talk it all through with to check for any blind spots.

      I like to tell my guests that they need to RSVP ASAP once they get their official invite - you can't really have someone missing from the game, but sometimes it's possible to invite a new guest the day before if someone is ill. There's no rule, really! You just don't want any guest to be missing on the day.

    • @murdermysteryguide

      Hi Amber, it's possible... It just isn't advisable... My murder mysteries are designed to be played around the dinner table so everyone can hear the conversations, which are full of clues! I find if people are too spread out it can ruin the game. Have you played a murder mystery before?

    Wait so do the fake characters know before going to the “party” that there has been a murder, or do the characters find out

    • @murdermysteryguide
      @murdermysteryguide  Год назад

      It depends on the plot, usually. If the characters are attending a reading of the will, they know there's been a murder. If they've been invited to a gala dinner or some other type of event, they should arrive *not* knowing that there will be / has been a murder.
