This world helped me. My childhood wasn't the best, and this was the only fiction I read. I'm so excited for this game!!
Harry potter was the only book that i actually waited in line first day every time new one came out

I went from having no interest in the game to very hyped in just a few days. It really looks promissing. I hope it's good, and that it can run well on average PCs.
I think you need a beefy pc to run the game. It's graphics are very high and so much will go on at the same time that your fps might drop to 20 if you do have an average pc
@@Riptide900 Not the case, saw the tests on gtx1650 and on medium it stays on around 40 frames, without FSR. Beefy pc is not needed for this game

Pretty sure it’s not optimized well for pc compared to consoles. We’ll see if the day 1 patch/driver updates does anything
Honestly never cared for the Harry Potter movies. But after 6 hours in this game today, I’m completely intrigued. From everything being animated, to the mesmerizing magic, and the engaging story, to the positively massive Hogwarts Castle. Everything has been so surreal. A few graphical glitches here and there such as flickering. And audio cutting out sometimes. But other than that, I’m on track for rating this with Top 3 best games in the past decade. Not enough can be said. Simply jaw dropping.
Probably one of the best games I’ve played in years, I still think they should’ve had standard editions. And the deluxe editions could’ve had 4 different covers one for each house. Would’ve loved a Hufflepuff cover.
There is a standard edition I got the pc one yesterday so also get the onyx hippogriff

Short game, even after doing each side quest. If you're looking for something to keep you busy for a long time, there are better options than this.
i love how we went from forspoken to this in a couple of weeks, not a harry Potter fan, but just from watching a couple of clips from Hogwarts made me want to play it so bad

@@twistydidit Who didn’t play Elden Ring, me? I watched gameplay didn’t care for it. Unlike Hogwarts legacy I love the whole going to class and walking warping Hogwarts and open world.

That's what I thought too. Such amazing potential they have to do something cool like that. Especially since the HP fan base is so massive. People would love to collect wands and potions for the game. Like an amiibo or something. Nintendo could definitely do it.

I'm not as big of a fan of the Harry Potter series as most people, but I definitely enjoyed all the movies since the very beginning. Even had a book or two when I was a kid. Also never cared to play any of the games, but this one got me intrigued. Maybe I'll try a demo whenever I decide to get a PS5.

At least you were able to get a collector's edition. They're selling for over 400$ now which sucks the only shot of getting one now is paying the marked up fee or hoping for a restock when Xbox One/PS4 comes out in april

Have played about 6 hours, the game is AMAZING. Totally lives up to the hype! With ray tracing it’s so beautiful and real looking. Frame rate isn’t the best but my PS5 gets about 30fps with the ray tracing fortunately and I’m used to that having only used consoles.

Let’s just imagine how cool it would be if that floating wand book was actually the ps5. And the wand floats above your console in the direction your suppose to go in the game. Now, that would be magic.

They could have done so much more with the CE. Even some house pins would have been something. The book is supposed to represent the Wizard Field Guide, I'm guessing, but it doesn't really feel special. I think a replica of the cryptex cylinder and portkey from the beginning of the game would have been a better bonus.
The game itself is really good though. The pacing feels good as things gradually open up. The school itself is one big exploration area, while the bigger world has all the combat.
Very cool. Enjoy. I remember when I worked night shift and I used my data to look up rumors of this game. Planned since 2019 but sadly missed out on this. Alhamdulilah I'm happy others got it

$500 Aussie Dollerydoos here. not worth it when it is only the deluxe game, the Wand/book and a non steel case (hate these ones). wish it had more in it for the same price... i ended up getting the Xbox SX version anyway, the PS5 was sold out sadly

I have very low expectations for the game tbh. The enviorment might look great but the spell system seems too simple in the showcases
