as a pos4 i play venom but more focused on ult + posion, so item order arcane boots, vlad, veil, vessel if they really tanky, shiva, and if game doesnt end i get, refresher , ofc defensive items where needed. might get kaya if i was a core. u already have like 60% dmg with ult, scale ur damage, and gg. linkens is counter for this so just q the linken before use ult.
p.s. if u want to copy gorg's build get the orb of venom free extra debuff for a small amount of gold +12% more damage
I think venomancer Q does not pop linkens because its not a target spell right? I could be wrong though.

as a pos4 veno player I would say that it is better to build utility usually. Force,eul,pipe. You definetly need force or glimmer, otherwise you are walking food (or euls at least)
Why are you scaling damage on a pos4 would be my first question.

Parasma is also 2 debuffs and works insanely well with the damage

I played veno with ward facet - it is not good, but you can actually stack multiple wards on one hero which is kinda cool) you can build core veno and stack wards on yourself - your damage with aghs will be busted
Nah that facet is just fluff. Noxious plague bouncing destroys fights and enemy mental.
The ward facet is just a meme, and not even a good one. You would need like 50+ veno wards on you to justify picking it instead of the other, and the most wards you can put will usually only be 9-10 wards.
@@dardardarner 9 wards is almost 400 damage + additional debuff. I wouldn't say it is good lategame - but tempowise consider it at 15-20 minute mark (aghs+dragon lance +lvl12 on core) - you don't need to skill gale that much and it speeds up farm considerably as well. For support it definetly sucks though - I would add 200-300 flying vision to it - it makes sense and will make it totally viable imo.The thing is - 2d facet is not actually that good as well - it is good now because people are not used to play against it.
The veno ward doesnt deal extra dmg with aghs. Its already written on it aghs.
@@dusunkuku915 it places a debuff which is a separate one from veno's innate. And debuffs increase dmg

If you think patient zero facet is broken, you should try that with a Grimstroke on your team and see how ridiculous your ult dmg can get.
Tbh, I think this facet and the current aghs effect should be swapped. I just think the aghs is very underwhelming for 4200 gold item. It only increases your normal attack dmg, not the tick dmg from your W. For someone like Veno that has a very mediocre attack range and is very squishy, It just feels awkward to right click enemy when you know they can burst you quicker than you can burst them. Maybe it can gain more value at super late game where you've already built 4 other status inflicting items but as a midgame tempo item, I don't find it that impactful.

It doesnt work most of the time. Only manta and lotus will it work. On BKB and euls its useless.
@@Doflaminguard I mean on bkb and euls it still deals damage. Theres also a lot of heroes that have dispels as abilities too.
Gorgc saying you should be able to change the facet in the first 10 seconds for at least the first week... even though they've extended the strategy time by 15 seconds for the first week for this EXACT reason.
For the next 3/2/1 weeks strategy time is increased by 15/10/5 seconds for people to pick their facets
Sometimes its your memory core while you thinking hard what to pick and buy that you forgot about the facets especially for last pick player. Having it being able to change during your first 10sec if you have a change of mind after seeing your opponent would be great. Adding 15sec to picking phase would drop gaming time for entire dota server hence people play less game and less people in queue for game. Which gives negative impact on the already declining game.
@@dusunkuku915 this is all just if buts and maybes of an opinion. The system is identical, if you get 10 sec after strst time, or before strat time, the omly error is you the player fucking up, that is not valves responsibility. They've already added a temporary time increase. For this reason, if you choose to use that extended time for other means, that's on you
@NoobMicesters thats why they fail to make it better experience for the players. Even the pro player i seen they stream get frustrated when they forgot to change their facet. Imagine the low ranks. There are a lot of games that are abandoned in low rank due to the player wanting to repick their facet and it brings bad experience for the player who are here for the hype or temporary player. Dota needs a huge community to be in their glory days. But they keep making bad decision on their patch and changes. They dont listen to the community that well hence the drop in active players. Funny how people like you keep supporting bad decision made by the devs and not wanting to improve in the easiest way they can.

I'm not supporting any bad decision, I'm just not supporting your decision to add in total 25 seconds worth of time,to something you should of chosen in the strategy time that is literally there, for STRATEGY time. I am not supporting anything, all I am saying is if you're not using, strategy time to think strategy, that's on you and the fragile ego of this community abandoning over being an idiot.
You literally have 15 more seconds to think about it. The only difference is you're thinking about it while preparing smokes and wards, and heading out, and you're meant to think about it in the 45 se ones you get after seeing literally every hero.
If they remove those extra 15, and put it in the game. There's literally no difference, except your mind set
veno will have 170 attack dmg whole game but deal 40000+ dmg when the game is over
