Cusco makes front & rear sway bars for the FL5 and DE5. Both cars share part numbers with the sway bars. Also, you use 5w-30 engine oil according to jdm FL5 CTR owners manual.
Love the build. Any chance you'll do some exhaust sound clips? Would really love to hear how the resonated version sounds. Only been able to find non-resonated versions.

Honda is already phasing out the manual is just a matter of a few more years and the ITS/CTR used value will go up to MSRP levels.
This might be the happiest I've been with any of my daily drivers after 9-10 months of ownership. No plans to sell it anytime soon.

while not official, some people have already said this is the last ICE Type S product from Acura as well

Careful w/the PRL. Fair amount of evidence it causes coolant overheating by restricting airflow to the radiator given that it’s a bar and plate style intercooler.
I've heard this as well for the FL5, and very curious to see how his track experience goes. One notable member on the Civic forums had overheating issues with his FL5 after his PRL was installed, got another car and claimed the overheating issues were gone with the factory setup.
The integra has quite a larger upper grille opening so I don’t see it affecting it as much as on the FL5

nice mods! quick question - will this void the 3-yr Acura warranty when bringing it back for maintenance or do you plan on taking the mods out before bringing it in for service?
Acura offers a 4 year warranty, and any modification will be taken into consideration for warranty claims. But that said, the burden of proof is on the dealer/manufacturer to prove that the modification caused the fault. So an exhaust and suspension upgrades can't really be attributed to a transmission failure.
Really the type of mods to avoid if you're worried about warranty are tunes, as they futz with the OEM parameters built into the ECU. If you have a tune, and an engine problem, expect your warranty claim to be denied, and there's ways that they'll know you had a tune even if you try to erase the evidence/uninstall the parts. But a catback exhaust requires none of this stuff and should generally be considered a "safe" modification... unless you have an NVH problem. An exhaust could lead to higher NVH, so a dealer would probably tell you to pound sand if you brought your car in with an aftermarket exhaust complaining about noise...
Intercooler is more substantial, because it does affect the cooling system. Especially if the install is bungled, an intercooler could easily lead to a denied claim but your mileage will vary based on individual scenarios and dealers.
Also as someone else in the comments pointed out already, some folks have reported that bar-and-plate intercoolers like the PRL have actually been attributed with causing additional overheating problems on track, as they restrict airflow to the radiator. Very curious to see how this plays out for our man Zygrene at his next hot track day...
My advice from experience with a Camaro is go to the same dealership you bought the car from.
Get all your oil changes there too.
I supercharged my Camaro right after I bought it and got a ton of warranty work done.

Probably not. It has enough power for my needs already and I don't want to mess with voiding the warranty and increasing stress on the engine

A cat-back exhaust or intercooler won't require an engine tune. However, some of the intakes on the market have been proven to throw codes so be wary...

Can I recommend a mod for you? Do only a rear motor mount it takes 10 minutes and transforms the car. Every single modern fwd vehicle this should be done especially boosted
I have the Milltek exhaust without the resonator. I kinda wish I went resonated. I get drone

Could always add a resonator if you go to a muffler shop

That intercooler is huge and will block a significant amount of air to your radiator on track. Wait for PWR to come out with theirs.
The upper grille opening is a lot larger on the DE5 than FL5. A lot more of the radiator is visibly exposed so it should be less of an issue on the Teggy

Does the exhaust help with some of that buzziness the engine has? Especially in comfort mode?
I think I know what you're talking about, and I'll almost guarantee that it will make it worse lol. Mine is really only noticeable when cold and goes away by the time I leave my neighborhood... but you may be talking about the "wastegate noise" that plagues all of these K20C engines. Not sure there's any fix for that, at least none that I'm aware of. An exhaust may drown some of that out though, sure.

I've heard exhaust clips of this Milltek, and it can DEFINITELY be louder than stock under all conditions. The off-throttle pops become as loud as gunshots with this thing, at least with the unresonated version in Sport+ mode.
I think what he's referencing is that with the valve closed, the noise is still under control.
Getting a new intercooler doesn’t void warranty?
It might, but the dealer would have to prove that it caused the failure/issue at hand. It's a gray area that I'm hoping I'll never have to deal with.
@@Zygrene I figure it'll actually help prevent failure. Since you haven't changed any of the fuel maps or tuned anything of that sort, the larger intercooler is effectively a reliability mod. In that sense, not really much different from running a thicker/larger radiator or adding in an oil cooler.

Mod list isn’t super crazy for ~9months of ownership. In 3 months I have Hondata w custom phearable tune, prl titanium turbo inlet, PRL HVI, PRL intercooler, charge pipes, milltek non resonated w black tips. Bought the car in cash so fuck a warranty

Just a heads up, running an intercooler actually makes the engine run hotter because it will be making more power, even the TCX and TC FK8/FL5/DE5 race cars all use a stock intercooler, its really there to make more power

The intercooler isn't for making more power, it's for making more consistent power since it is easier to heatsoak with the stock intercooler. He's on the stock tune, so it's really just going to keep charge air temps down, which should help keep in-cylinder temps down and reduce the risk of detonation since it's not going to change fueling or timing passed stock parameters. Obviously to push overall engine temps down on track he would need a radiator and/or an oil cooler, but so far he hasn't run into that problem much, and I wouldn't expect maintaining stock power levels would significantly worsen temps.
