@shacarioking5149 I saw some videos of the last 347 and I didn't expect it to be that chaotic tbh. I guess the people that got the last bus were local to Romford or something. Ockendon isn't a bad place to get dropped off at tbh, there's the c2c that runs pretty frequently and the 370 which is pretty close.
@ nahhhh I was on that bus that got curtailed at mitcham (I got on at Brixton), I recorded it turning back around towards that bus stop in mitcham and I was walking up to the bus stop and saw you standing next to a car filming
Absolutely great coverage Never had a reason to take this route however I am sure regardless of its poor frequency Its absence will leave a void in the route it served for passengers This is why people should pay for their journeys and also make use of the service. The slow decline of service to eventually leading it to be scrapped is due to TfL no longer seeing the route as worth while. Same issue with 118. It’s getting scrapped because not many people make use of the route
@@ManlykefreshINC The problem was definitely the poor frequency and low passenger usage. I do think the 346's extension was a great idea though because it meant people living on the 347 between Harold Wood and Upminster went from having a bus that ran 4 times a day on Mondays to Saturdays to the 346 which runs every 20 minutes on all days of the week.
@@ManlykefreshINC I think the 118/45 merger was because the 45 was underused. Ever since it got cut from Kings Cross passenger numbers have fallen (although what exactly were they expecting when they made that change??). From my experiences the 118 does get busy, especially on Sundays which is why I think the 45's improved Sunday frequency (every 15 mins instead of the 118's every 20 minute service) will be very successful. I just hope TUK will run it well. I'm worried that it might get very unreliable at peak times.
@@cooldude12-q9b yeah the people living on the 347/269 only section are in London but have had their TfL service taken away from them. Most of them probably have cars but it's still not great for elderly people and people without a driving license.
@@cooldude12-q9b no. The 414 will probably get withdrawn on the 22nd of February as that's when the 14's PVR increase and allocation change is happening.
RIP 347 the last day was chaotic I didn’t even do the last ever running last week because I’m not planning to be stranded in Ockendon
