Sounds like a legit accident. What I gather from what I read, the driver was apart of the parade! He's in one of the singing groups there and was driving a truck for them in the parade when he accelerated to hard after being told his section of the parade was up next. @@rancosteel Not even in DC do they put up Jersey barriers for a sanctioned protest or parade. All they ever put up are barricades (wood sawhorse or moveable fence/bicycle rack looking type) that pretty much any vehicle can drive through if so motivated. I don't suppose the new law that FL Gov. Ron DeSantis just recently signed that grants civil immunity for people who drive their cars into crowds had anything to do with this incident.
