@@davidsen188 Is it okay to use my fingers when dividing the number? My problem is that then I can only do up to 10 lunges in total, because otherwise I run out of fingers to do the divison.
Nope, wrong. Maintaining an upright torso increases the moment arm for the quads (the distance between the center of mass and the knee joint), for more glute emphasis you should hinge with a forward torso angle.
@@pritok6 It has nothing to do with "activation" and everything to do with moment arm lengths relative to the knees/hips. I know you have no idea what this means so whatever.
Finally a video showing a correct walking lunge, and not the 'stepping lunge' which other content creators label as a walking lunge.
I never thought about using dumbbells for lunges. This could really step up my workouts.
Doing these have been such an amazing leg exercise for me. I wish I included them in sooner.
Can you do this with one dumbell goblet style? Thanks
How to count reps? Just count the one leg or both
Just count the total and split it in two. Just make sure it`s an even number.

I typically do 3 sets 20 reps each (10 reps per leg) so counting to 20 for each set works for me
What if you can’t walk and count at the same time?
This feels like a hamstring exercise for me... hmmm

from my experience longer the step more of glute activation and less of quad activation

@@ReversingTheSpell This is wrong. Have fun tho.
