    The fact that misteraddons did this entire project alone is so impressive. Seriously, this is making retro arcade gaming so much better for so many people.

      I would love to have a versus but that thing must be a pain to move around and or get in/out of a home. Even the blast/astro arcades that I had required partial disassembly to get through doorways. How do you do it?

    • @StephanieHua

      @@aiw437591 it is exactly as you think. lots of places that it cannot go unless I want to spend the time to rip it apart piece by piece (plastic by plastic not mentioned in the manuals). It sat in my parents garage but now currently it sits in my office at work. We have a loading dock so I just simply wheeled it in.

      @@MiSTerAddons I am new at this. Is this easy for me to setup? How many games are on your system and what are the list of the consoles that are on there? Also what’s the difference between your system and others like Ultimatemister? Please don’t take my questions as a challenge to your work or product. I am just trying to learn and figure out what’s the best choice. I do not have original controllers and will be using usb and wireless controllers. I read info on your site about deciding analog vs digital. I need help with this too. The language is new for me and I need help here too. Is there anyway we can chat somewhere other than here to help me with a setup? Thanks

    Is Bluetooth included with MiSTercade, the add-on for MiSTercade, or MiSTer Express? Thanks!

    Hi, So do i attach my arcade monitor to the high level VGA or to the 75ohm VGA on the mistercade?

    • @MiSTerAddons
      @MiSTerAddons  9 месяцев назад

      Nearly all arcade monitors are wired for 75 ohm, though some chassis have 2 positions where you can swap the HD15 and the JAMMA inputs. I'd start with the 75 ohm HD15 output on the MiSTercade. V1.3 only outputs 75 ohm levels over the VGAs :)

    Hi. The commands on this board works from USB or Snac?

    • @MiSTerAddons
      @MiSTerAddons  Год назад +1

      USB (0.7 ms of latency). SNAC doesn't support this many inputs but it is integrated into the MiSTercade remote for light guns, etc. :)

    So, one of the things missing from these recent videos is the 100ft overview of what they are.
    Is MiSTer Express a roll-up of the I/O and add-on boards? If so, which ones? Doesn’t look like it includes the SDRAM but I have to assume it has the USB hub built-in… right?
    I understand that MiSTercade is basically an I/O board for use in JAMMA arcade cabinets, but is that optional board with 75-ohm outputs also intended to make it feature-complete with MiSTer Express? Will it also have a place for SNAC, MT32 Pi, and other stuff? Thanks!

    • @MiSTerAddons
      @MiSTerAddons  2 года назад +1

      MiSTer Express is a new consolized project. I wrote about it on my site last fall - been working on it since. Look at the MiSTercade product page for all of the details.

    I just pre-ordered a lite kit for my Storm City arcade. I believe that CHAMMA switch is going to be used in my circumstance.
    I am super excited to receive it. Just gotta hunt down a DE-10 nano now hahah.

      I have a NNC with a JAMMA harness and VGA cable. You want to use the consumer level RGB output for 31kHz :)

    I have a collection of arcade boards and consoles...Some of these cards may stop working at any time.Some are over 30 years old... And their components are already worn out...
    Problems with overheating, slowdowns, crashes... All this happens due to aging of the components or also due to technical limitations of the hardware.You on mistercade, you can have a better experience than 1:1... We can improve the sound, configure the color palettes, we can fix some bugs and slowdown, flickers, that occurred on arcade boards...
    We can improve the game experience significantly...Fixing the problems just changing some core settings...I think that even the input lag, over time, will be less than on the original boards....I'm thinking of getting rid of a large part of my collection...

    • @MiSTerAddons
      @MiSTerAddons  2 года назад +1

      FPGA technology is very impressive. At best, it can match original hardware 100% and implement extra features. While not every core is perfect (most have small imperfections) the overall experience feels very good to me :)
