your channel here is all about helping people - with our printers and with putting together furniture - how sweet your wife - she wanted to help others going through what she did - what a beautiful person
Our family is very sorry to hear about your beautiful wife. We have been watching you since you had only 70 subscribers. Keep up the good videos. God Bless.
So sorry for your loss friend, my heartfelt condolences. (I've just discovered your channel today when a video about re-using an old laptop dvd drive pop up on my home page.) It's sad but I hope it is well with your soul. God bless you. Regard's, from Indonesia
I just want to comment to wish you all the best for the future, I was widowed also at 55, she was 47 . She passed away of cancer too, so I know what a tough time you've been through and are still going through, it's torture watching someone you love dying. You're holding up better than I was at that time, it bought me to tears every time I talked about it. Like you I managed to keep her at home until the day before she passed and set up a hospital bed next to our lounge window looking out over our farm, Funny how you kept saying "we" , it took me months to get out of that habit. It's been nearly five years now and it's slowly getting easier to deal with. Anyway just wanted to offer my support and hoping you're doing ok.
Ugh, sorry for your loss! Life just sucks sometimes, there's just no two ways about it. Times like these reminds us how ultimately powerless we are. I don't know whether or not it's easier if it's sudden or known and expected. Loss is the hardest most painful experience in life. Just hang in there and give yourself lots of time to grieve. I just loss a dear one whom I had 25 wonderful years with. The absence/void of the routines and their presence is devastating. I feel terrible for you!! Sending you prayers.
I am so damn sorry, bud. Respect for being able to do this video....for going through what you're going through and still thinking of us, your viewers. We love you man.
As a bereaved parent, I do watch grief videos. It helps us who are grieving feel less alone as we undertake the long arduous journey that nobody wants to take. Thank you for sharing your story 🙏🏻. May your wife be at rest until you are reunited 🕊️🕯️✨ 💐
Mark, I am so so sorry. Please do whatever is best for you, and we are always going to be here for you. You are an amazing person and we all love you very much. Please take care of yourself, you’re a good man, and please please reach out if you ever need anything, don’t feel like you have to fight through this by yourself
Hi Mark. I'm a hold over from when you used to do Uber content. I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I've always enjoyed your content and your pragmatism especially in the rideshare days. Please take care during this difficult time. Kind regards.
Your wife is BEAUTIFUL ❤. I don't know how this came up on my feed, but I'm glad I get to say I'm so sorry for your immense loss. I lost my 14 year old son. Grief is extremely overwhelming. Make sure you get a lot of rest. Again, I'm terribly sorry 😢 😔 💔
Hi Mark, when I saw the title of the video my heart broke. I have missed yours and Julie's presence in Wisco since you left and I wanted to thank you for always having a safe space for me during high school and after. Julie is a beautiful human and I will miss her so much. Sending you love, Maggie F
Thank you Maggie! It's so good to hear from you, even though it's under such tragic circumstance. You were like a second daughter and we always wished you had come by even more often. It was a very difficult year for us but Steph was here and that made things easier. It's great hearing from you!
I'm so very sorry. I cannot imagine your loss. My wife and I have been married for 37 years. We know this is coming for one or the other of us sooner or later. We talk about it, but there is no way to really be prepared. I can't bare the thought of losing her. I hope I go first.
I am so sorry for your loss. You have a lot of friends (even if you may not know most of us online) so dont be afraid to reach out if you need to talk. Sending you lots of thoughts and prayers.
I am very sorry for your loss. I have not been following your channel but it came up on the home page recommendations. My Mom recently died from a glioblastoma (brain cancer). It was the most difficult thing I have ever been through in my life for multiple reasons. The most difficult aspect is to see someone you care about suffering and then declining and then also having to manage the day to day care taking right in the home. In addition the lack of mobility which slowly gets worse over time makes everything especially difficult. That being said, there is some sense of peace that may come eventually in the knowledge that the suffering has stopped and that we did the best we could...
We love you, Mark, I can't express how much we feel for your loss. We just turned 60 & it hits you that loss of a spouse becomes much more of a reality. I see people struggle & we wish you more highs than lows, knowing it is a new normal. If you continue your "travelog" of southwest Florida, we'll be watching!
We here for you man. We appreciate u sharing the pain. It’s a real pain we all share and not all of us are strong enough to talk about. To hear it from you and to relate to is brings a sense of one’ness thank you pops🙏🏽❤️ we are your family. We here
Mark, I am so sorry for the pain you are now feeling. I have been a long time subscriber going back to the Uber Hints days. May the memories that you and your family have of your wife fill you with many blessings and cherished memories.
Oh I am so sad for you. You are brave to share this. I hope it helped you in some way. I always enjoy your channel and your calm voice. Take time for yourself and reach out to others. My friend lost her husband and she joined a spouse bereavement group that really helped her. Everyone is different so that may or may not be what you need. Thinking of you and thanks for all you do.
Prayers for comfort and strength. I think sharing smoothie recipes would be great. A good smoothie is just yummy. Your boy kitty knows your sadness. Sorry for your loss🙏
Grief is something that we, in the US, don't talk about or share very easily. Your kitties are likely missing her too. Anderson Cooper has been doing a wonderful podcast for the last three years on grief called "Is that all there is?". Loved hearing your kitty's purring. It's okay to still say we.
As I have watched many loved ones take chemo, I really doubt I would take it if I developed cancer. I ant quality over quantity. So very sorry for the loss of your lovely wife.😢💔
I lost my husband of 21 years in 2002 after a 3 1/2 year battle with cancer. He was 47 years old and I was 46. For two years he endured aggressive treatment-chemo, radiation, 3 major abdominal surgeries including a colostomy and a major blood loss from the chemo-only to be told he had maybe a year to live. Wisely, my husband chose quality of life for that last year+. We viewed it as the best decision we made during his whole illness. The second wisest decision we made was getting Hospice involved 4 months before he passed away and not waiting until closer to the end. After my husband’s experience, I formed definite opinions on what I would do if diagnosed with cancer. My heart goes out to this kind man and the loss of his dear wife.💔
I'm so sorry for the loss of your wife. Don't worry about the content. Do what's best for you. If you feel like showing us a new cocktail or smoothie recipe, or a great restaurant, or if you feel like talking about your wife and your grief, it's all good. We're here for you. Sincere condolences! ❤
Mark, praying for you to feel the presence of God’s love, and the love of your friends/channel members who care and support you, especially during this difficult time! Grace for each day, in your time, in your way. Thank you, you are helping others in sharing your story. I’m so very sorry. Your wife sounds like she was a beautiful person.
HEY,..Mark I dont know what To say But I'm so very Sorry For Your Loss you have done a great job on this video explaining what's has happened in your Life and I can only Say That Everyone Deals With the passing Of a Love one In Different ways So My Condolences go out to You and to your family And I Will keep watching the Channel no matter what and Hope you Doing the channel will help you during Your time of loss Take care and hope to see you On the next video 🙏 Mark.D Barre,vt
I'm so sorry Mark. My condolences. Keep the channel going - I'm sure that's what your wife would want. But this is also just a selfish request, because I like your channel and you and I would miss you if you stopped posting videos!
I’m sitting in the hospital with a family member and thought to check in on your channel just now to see if you have a new DiY. As I was wondering what to put in comments on your news ,a minister came to visit. (Ministers apparently do this if a patient puts down their religion on the admission paperwork?) He quoted Psalms 145:18. I’ll probably delete my comment if it elicits negative comments, but the timing was so unusual. Meaningless coincidences happen all the time, but I’m not sure this one falls in that category, so thought I’d share.
God comfort you in your deep loss of your wife...be gentle with yourself and know that grief takes a long time...keep your pets close and get plenry of rest....just came upon your channel for first time...((((Angel hugs)))))👼🕯️♥️🌷

Thanks you. In retrospect, we would not have made that choice either.

For me, whenever the intensity of suffering is high it's a good opportunity to learn about the nature of what's going on here.
