Friend, putting the master switch, I think it will be necessary to recalibrate it every time you turn it on.

It takes a lot longer to recharge the battery than it does to run the calibration.

You don't really need internal screws. The board is held firmly in the grip of the shell screws. At least that's the way mine is.

I literally just got mine at my door then tested a few inductors, plus the red led and 10uf cap they provided. WOW, I love this thing except the USB charging cord is too short and worthless. Mine came completely discharged but using USB to charge it also allowed it to run to test. btw, the plate is far too thick as I already dropped it onto the carpet because the USB cord going in needs to be longer to properly fit.

Do you have any information about the lcr-tc2 ? I have V3.1e. when I double press I don't see Calibration mode but instead Adjustment mode.
    Thanks, Bill

How did you know the cap was a Tantulum?
Also do you have an accurate ESR chart for Electrolytic;s?
I've seen some charts but some suggest an ESR of 14.3 ohms is normal for a 10mf 25V Electrolytic cap and I just don't by that. I have a brand new one testing at 10.12 mf and 2.1 ohms ESR.
I also have a 10 mf 25V that might be fifty years old measuring 13.33 mf and 2.2 on ESR.
I took it out of a MIni Ball 60 watt CB amplifier because it looked damaged but maybe it got hit with a soldering iron. 13.33 pf is out of spec though by a good bit on that cap so its a shelf queen now.
