La traduction française est automatique (merci Google) parce que moi, j’ai mis juste des sous-titres en anglais. :P Mais tant mieux si c’est 1) utilisable et 2) utile.

J’adore ton contenu. Je suis née en 91 et à l’école, j’ai appris la phrase : je connais mon alphabet, du début jusqu’à la fin.

la phrase à la fin de la chanson que je chantais quand j'étais enfant, c'était « je connais mon alphabet, chante avec moi la prochaine fois! » je savais pas qu'il y avait autant de variantes!
Mille pardons pour le ton légèrement grivois de mon commentaire, mais j'ai cru noter qu'un œil a esquissé un léger rire quand tu as expliqué la prononciation de la lettre Q. Pardon encore ! 😂🤣
À l'école primaire française en 1965, on nous faisait dire "grand ke" pour Q.

I have an idea for a new video. You can create a video focusing on the diphthongization that occurs in the Quebecois accent, explained in English. This aspect is particularly challenging for me to understand, as the rules are difficult to grasp and there is limited content available on the internet. For the j- , you can say that it is the sound in "measure" or "pleasure" : the "s" there is like the french "j". Pleasure with a French accent sounds like "plaît jeux"

Je viens du Nicaragua, j'aimerais savoir quel niveau de français québécois je suis ici depuis 2 ans et c'est une très belle langue mais je ne suis pas sûr de parler en public.

Have some takes on this :
1.- It seems to me that the pronunciation of certain letters in the French Language (F, M, N) seems to be the same in both English and French.
2.- As some of the comments have already indicated that the "Alphabet Song" has a French Title which is based on Music by Mozart which may or may not have been originally a piano 🎹 piece or arranged for piano and orchestra. Will need to research this further, so more to come.
3.- The primary reason why I am viewing these videos is to try to improve my ability to speak in French the next time I will be going to the Shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre. This is also a reason I order stuff not only in English, but in French as well. Also have downloaded French texts from the iBreviary App as well.
4.- The French that I currently know has been self-taught since I never took French classes in high school. Had 3 years of Spanish and a year of Latin as well. I wonder if you know of anyone who does the same with Spanish what you do with French?
5.- Finally, with the Spanish Language starting to be more spoken throughout North America, how does one communicate when the other person can only speak in Spanish ?
These letters are very close in FR and ENG but to my ear, they’re not exactly the same.
For the Spanish, there os Linguriosa, but she teaches European Spanish.

French was my best subject from middle school through college, but I always hesitated before saying French letters G and J because the vowels are reversed from English. I suspect that K is spelled and pronounced ka under the influence of Greek kappa.

Interesting, so the French „U“ is pronounced like the umlaut „Ü“. Is there no equivalent to the English „oo“ sound? That’s how Romance and Germanic as well as Turk-Uralian languages pronounce „U“.

@@maprofdefrancais Merci de promouvoir le fr-CA (comme on le dit dans l'industrie de la localisation)! En passant, quand on chante et qu'on a besoin d'une syllable de plus, on prononce le e final, comme dans "Frère Jacques". Mon enseignante au primaire nous faisait chanter une chanson religieuse tous les matins : "Pè-re... mon pè-re... je suis ton enfant..." Il y a aussi : "Je suis mala-de, complètement mala-de!"

@@maprofdefrancais Oui, ce sont des exemples de produits qui ont besoin d'être localisés avant leur introduction dans un marché étranger. On utilise le standard ISO 639-1pour identifier les langues et leurs variantes. Les deux premières lettres indiquent la langue et les deux dernières le pays. Ainsi, fr-CA représente le français canadien et fr-FR le français de France. De la même façon, en-US représente l'anglais américain, en-CA l'anglais canadien, en-GB l'anglais britannique.
Comme par hasard, j'ai trouvé une job en fr-CA et c'est comme ça que mon intérêt pour les langues et leurs variantes a commencé.

Merci pour la leçon, professeure. But do you have an existing lesson for the accent quebecois of vowels? I try to fix that since I hear mes collègues to say it differently from what I heard on french lessons. (EG: fête - i say it as literally fet as in english but I hear my colleagues say it as fight or somewhere similar) and some other vowels as well if I remember correctly.
J’ai une formation complète en prononciation (maprofdefrancais.ca/prononciation). Si tu cherches à vraiment bien comprendre comment prononcer chaque son et avoir des exercices pour y arriver.

Le E aussi me semble un peu différent dans la prononciation Française versus Québécoise. La prononciation Française se rapproche légèrement plus du "eu". Elle est un peu plus fermée que le "E" Québécois.

Que fais-tu du mot "QAT" très rarement utilisé , mais accepté au Scrabble??

Je ne parle pas portugais mais la moitié de ma famille est Espagnole et votre commentaire me fait penser à eux quand ils essaient de prononcer des mots français tels que "sucre" (azucar en espagnol) ils prononcent "soucré" ça fait rigoler tout le monde (côté français) mais ce n'est pas de la moquerie. Ils se "vengent" bien quand il faut qu'on prononce "relojeria, Trujillo etc, etc" 🤭🤣

Uniquement dans certaines régions je pense, car chez moi on prononce toujours E et pas EU.

Lors de mon voyage en France une dame a épelé mon prénom N A T H A L I EUH. Sa façon de dire les 'E' était aussi différente de la nôtre que celle des 'R' dont tu parles.

Cette chanson de l'alphabet semble être une traduction de la chanson américaine des ABC dont le rythme est un plus mélodieux d'ailleurs sans la galopade de lmnop car elle garde une lettre par note de musique.
