Thanks Lee, when the clouds passed the views were excellent. Such a great place to run and yeah, the run off Snowdon down the Llanberis path is always fun. Risky at times as it can be a little technical in places so a fall could be painful and embarrassing considering the amount of people walking up and down!! 😂
Hi guys. This route is so scenic! Thank you for showing it. I wouldn't have known about all those other mountains I've not been to in Snowdonia. I really really liked that gorge hole like an underground stone corridor (is that The Devil's Kitchen?). Also those slate stands with round holes to look through at particular mountains was an excellent idea. The views when you were descending onto towards Triffan were amazing. By the way, I would be shi.... myself going past those cows/bulls at the start. Well done!
No, that wasn’t Devils Kitchen but lovely and quaint. Devils Kitchen is like a giant amphitheatre that has to be seen. It’s amazing, like many places in Snowdonia. The slates are good aren’t they? So clever and a brilliant idea! The cows, yeah, got a bit twitchy didn’t they 😂 Thanks for watching 😊
Fancied a change and haven’t been there for ages. 30 mins into the day we were wondering why we hadn’t come back sooner. Such epic mountains and environment in a very accessible area. Thanks 😊
Another fantastic video thanks again for sharing. I'll try adjusting my sock next time want a breather never used that one before 😂😂 my mate Kenny Stewart holds Snowdon record set it in 1985 1.02.29 once again thank you for your time making these for our pleasure
Just googled that. Im amazed! Just over an hour for a 10ish mile race up and down the Llanberis path?? He probably went up it faster than we came down!! Seems he set a few other records too, quite a career he had. Really enjoyed yesterday and thanks for watching and commenting. Appreciate it 👍
2:04 ill dive with sharks, jump out of planes, base jump of cliffs, but walk/run through a cow field and I'm shatting it! scariest animals on the planet I tell folk
Haha, made me jump, that’s for sure! Think a chunk of my life was left at that very spot!! Took years away from me 😂 Usually they’re fine but that one was a little twitchy!
It is a great route. The section between the first road crossing and Black Moss res is by far the least interesting section, but there's a good chunk of flagstones along there so you can pass through it relatively quickly. I've covered most of it in separate runs and hikes but I'm looking forward to piecing it all together in one big loop! See you on the start line!
Great video guys looked a great route ! Are you doing ultra trail snowdonia this year ? I’m doing the 50k . Just need and want to get more confident out on the routes in snowdonia for training . Navigation is a worry sometimes just all hope In the watch 😬
No, not doing UTS, got a few things booked and don’t know how that would fit it. As for navigation, we’ve done a fair amount in and around those areas so have a good idea though the more intricate bits are taken care of by the routes we previously create (using Plotaroute) and upload to our watches. Thank you for watching, appreciate it 👍
Have heard of that ,will try it thanks .I use an app all trails for routes can’t send to my watch I don’t think tho so a pain out with your phone navigating. Signed up to trail events Lake District marathon in September too . Enjoyed your vids from there too 👌
We just create GPX files and transfer to our watches directly from the PC with a cable. There’s many other ways but we like to insert information in the files like summits, possible water collection points etc. Bet you’re looking forward to the Lakes event, some awesome routes there!
Excellent film both🏃♂️🏃♀️
Great unique route taking a favourite of ours Y Garn.👏👏👏
Thanks 😊 We love Y Garn too and were a little gutted we didn’t get the views from the summit. Still, we got them on the descent which made up for it!
Great video. Fantastic scenery, well done both of you 👍
Thank you, so glad the clouds passed and gave us all some great views. It would have been a shame to have been in the clag all day!
Stunning! Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you, nice to be back in Wales!
Long hard route on a winters day, lucky with the weather 👍 well done 👏
Thank you! Yeah, the weather improved as the day went on which for once was in our favour!
Good route some nice views that looked a quick decent off snowdon 👌💪🏔️

Stunnin! 👏 I'm guilty of not venturing to Wales much (other than doing Snowdon years ago on the 3 peaks).

thank you for taking us along with you - cows aka walking steak - hate them i would have been quicker down the mountain than you two- 😂
Haha, made me jump for sure! Loved the route though and nice to be back in Wales 🏴 Thank you 😊
Beautiful route as per, have I spied you two on the entry list for Saddleworth 10 Res?
Thank you very much, it’s a lovely area. As for the Saddleworth 10 Res’s, yes, you sure have! Hoping it’s a nice route, certainly looks it 😊
