That lizard rig is my favorite one in each of these showcases. The sheer cartoonish expression in the eyes and limber body is something that I feel full CGI movies have been sorely lacking in after Disney's _Tangled._
I love animation school showcases like these. So wonderful. Edit: Since this has quite a few likes, I need to ask: Should I go to a university to major in animation or take online classes like this? I feel like I might want to stay focused on my projects so that I have to go to the university every few days, not taking my focus off. However, I feel like working at my own pace too, hence why I could take the online classes instead. Any suggestions?
I've consulted with my animation professor before and she says degree didn't matter before but now it's important if you want to work overseas. Often times they require a degree to qualify for a working visa. If the university has good courses for animation then online school wouldn't be that necessary but it's always helpful for your reel!
I have seen alot of other animation reels from other schools, but these from this channel is by far the best ones. I don't know what this school teach that the others don't. The expressions are so believable!
The first animation clip got me thinking... how did these guys get the amazing Gilbert Gottfried to play a lizard? I’m so jealous! Also, love all these animation clips!
Having 3D-Animation this semester, and what gets delivered there is an absolute joke compared to this 😂😂😂 But we need to model and rig our charakters ourself
I have a question. I'm striving to become an animator after finishing high school (which is 5 weeks from now). Should I go to a university or should I just focus on my classes in Animschool?
You don't need a degree in animation to be hired at most studios, what matters is your demo reel. So any good online animation program would be better than any university with a general 3D degree.
Juan Riera thanks for the answer. That's actually a relief since I hate taking subjects (like Calculus) that wouldn't benefit Animation at the slightest. Thanks again
You absolutely do not need a degree, don't make my mistake. I went to college to learn 3d Modeling & animation, most teacher have 0 experience in the field & it only set me further back from my goal. but once I started taking Animschool classes, everything just clicked, plus your building connections with animators who are still in the business & some will give you references once your work improves. Its hard, and expensive, but 100% worth it
WildMadDawg When you say it's hard, do you mean time consuming? Also, I would like to know what company you're working for and how talented you've become after taking AnimSchool! Thank You
It's hard to do animation that feels just right, lots of trial and error, and a lot of time. That's why feature film animators only do a few shots per film. Keep in mind many animators in this showcase already have experience animating. I'd suggest you start watching tutorials about 3D animation and start learning on your own so you can make the most out of your time at AnimSchool. Do some tests of basic stuff like bouncing balls.
2:06 her body movement when she says “never should’ve trusted you” is reaaalllly rapunzel like (as in tangled)
Oh wow your right
Animators usually take inspiration or use other animations for reference
yeah, the strong stance!
I fucking LOVE that lizard model. So expressive.
That lizard should have his own show or movie
These are so cool to watch! Amazing the talent these people have. I'm striving to be just as good some day!
Then apply ;)
ZAMination Productions Oh hi lel remember me from discord? I legit saw you comment in at least 4 animation RUclips vids

5:09 I love the motion expressions and everything here. 10/10 make a movie now
I never get tired of watching outstanding animation like this.
Mondundu Same.

3:02 is my favorite one lol
That lizard rig is my favorite one in each of these showcases. The sheer cartoonish expression in the eyes and limber body is something that I feel full CGI movies have been sorely lacking in after Disney's _Tangled._

Rayne Blackwater Right, that’s so funny but I don’t know where it’s from?
The audacity of her
0:21 The animation style reminds me a LOT of Big Hero 6.
I knew I wasn't the only one that thought that
The lizard of min 2:31 was hilarious!
M Dimofte “I said just listen! It’s about my butt.” Best ending line ever!
The work in 4:54 is just splendid. Oh god, I wish I could animate that well.

That transition makes it look like the guy she didn't trust was the one having a heart attack
I hope all of these students get jobs at the top animation studios because they deserve it!

just do it.....dont think too much {DO WHAT YOU LIKE AND LEAVE THE REST}
These are so good! People don't realize the time these take. Its so hard!
I have seen alot of other animation reels from other schools, but these from this channel is by far the best ones. I don't know what this school teach that the others don't. The expressions are so believable!
Very talented people! I always love these random compilations
I can't stop watching these. They are awesome!
2:31 it's so well done! The little skit made me laugh XD
I totally would watch a daily 30 minute shows of constant animated shorts of this quality if it were on TV. It's awesome~
The first animation clip got me thinking... how did these guys get the amazing Gilbert Gottfried to play a lizard? I’m so jealous! Also, love all these animation clips!
5:26 Hold up. That’s Samuel L Jackson’s voice 😂😂
3:33
*IT IS MA'AM*
Love these videos! They're very inspiring for me as an animation student.
I love them, they are all very animated. I wish they change angles of view to have more feel
First one was good animation and a damn good voice actor.
That's the voice of Gilford Godfrey.
YEAH; HE'S THE VOICE OF DIGIT FROM CYBERCHASE. . .
I CAN’T STOP REWATCHING 2:13

Fantastic as always
Thank you very much! Fantastic as ever!
I certainly want to go for this! It sounds awesome!
*I cannot wait to create something about the Grox/Alien swarm*
How long did you render the Sofia? It's the type of animation I want to do.
2:51 the voice actor sounds like sour cream from Steven universe
I'm pretty sure it is him, Brian Posehn. He also played a role in the cartoon "Sym-Bionic Titan"
There's nothing lame about seatbelt safety
Very nice stuff! Showcases like this help keep me inspired!!! love the animation by Louie Rupinsky.
It's here!
Like always, perfect!!!
This is incredible, and inspiring.👍
Awesome/inspiring work guys!!
Awesome reel!
I'm in school right now for animation and i'm hoping I can get to this level one day! So cool.
Wow!!!
Just amaizing works
These guys make it look so easy
these looks like real shows and movies, outsanding!
Awesome works everyone : D
2:33 fave
So...you guys just stopped doing showcases? Because I've been waiting for the 2017 version
It includes the work from all of that year so it is not ready for release yet.
Man, Mohammed makin' some deep stuff
1:58 is amazing oml I love it
And also,5:36 to 5:40 is kingsman:the secret service
I can manage the scene making and ok ish character building but animation is tricky , hopefully I'll get this good someday soon
i wont never get this good at animating, my PC can't even run Adobe animate or other programs.
Nice work btw, i liked it.
"I won't never get this good at animation"
Grammatically, this is self-motivation
Same, my render times are so long that I got bored and gave up on animating.
CogniVision you don't need to render to learn animation. Just do a raw render .
This animation is very fresh and fun but nothing like traditional animation. Better yet I hope the animations studios merge both like Paperman!!
All of these should be movies
As I travel around this land of oz, one thought comes back to me again and again: THESE PEOPLE ARE NUTS!!!
i really like this that square character.
0:21
0:48
1:58
What three movies are those from??
4:29 the person voicing the mom sounds like Korra from legend of korra
0:06 RIP Gilbert
This motivates me to animate
Woah so inspiring!
Abraham Mast oh hey Abraham
Wow this is awesome ;o
That clip with the "second biggest secret -> I love you", which movie is it from?
Having 3D-Animation this semester, and what gets delivered there is an absolute joke compared to this 😂😂😂
But we need to model and rig our charakters ourself
5:23 Star Wars reference :)))
Epic animation :)
nice work _
1:02 The Wedding Singer. Love it!
Yooo the one at 2:10 is from the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt show!!
PixelPomegranate OMG YOU ARE SO RIGHT
last one is same actor voice as a Grubber(Michael Peña) from MLP?
Is there like default character styles or something because some of the characters looks similar in form?
damn these are good
That last one though
lovely
"Why can I never get my animations to look so expressive?" -sees the amount of controls on their models-...Ah

I like the model of the last guy
Can you advise how you go about hiring your students?
Are the complete films posted online? Some of the clips are interesting enough that I'd like to see the full scene.
Bahahaha 3:10 from GodFather movie reference 😂
Hearing digit in the first one was awsome.😂
Man how do they make it look so pretty??? I'm so bad at rendering..
who animated the one at 0.26 i want to get in contact with the person
Anyone know the audio for 2:31??
It's Brian Posehn! He's a really famous voice actor. Look up his roles!!
These people are nuts
XD
Yo we should have like a group of us that try and learn together, for those who want to learn how to animate like this. That'll be so cool.
this is literally an online animation school
do you know any online animation schools that teach 2d animation
i got flipaclip :/
