This short film actually makes me so happy! It was beautiful and whimsical, and it made my day. Probably even week. I felt like I was experiencing the story with the duck, excited to see the world with it, curious to see what was behind of each portal. It awakened a nostalgic feeling of childhood; it makes me wonder if I can approach life with the same joy as the starry-eyed duckling. The film was over all too soon. Excuse me, as I re-watch this ten more times!

@@shamminessa2588 not the original artist, but practice!! Learning storytelling and animation takes practice and time. It isn't a talent your born with, but a skill learned. Keep practicing character design and writing. Watch tutorials and take classes- there are a bunch of free resources on youtube! Make sure you also actively seek criticism! Criticism is key to learning to improve. There's no shortcuts when it comes to stuff like this. I've been drawing for basically my entire life and I still struggle with certain aspects of it. You just have to be patient with yourself and take your time. :)

@@louisediego8419 The ducks are from a farm somewhere on earth. That detail is not important. The people you see in the animation are from another world, so there is a light portal. There is an explanation under the video. Hope this helps.

A duck that has no mind believes in God, and a person who has a mind does not believe in God because of things that are not convincing to us as believers, making him an atheist. This atheist just followed what he said, a set of theories, hypotheses, and images modified with Photoshop, and thus he was deceived. The atheist found this as an opportunity, so he unleashed his lust and enjoyed practicing Sex with males, females, children, and animals such as animals, and the atheist forgot that no one before him who died thousands of years before him was unable to achieve immortality, and all of them dead now enjoyed dozens of years and then died thousands of years. For me, I derived wisdom from that.
I was planning on doing my bachelor short film involving ducklings which is also based on a true story! this was great inspiration i love it

I love the little detail on the mother duck’s face in the end with lines under her eyes, probably been searching for her duckling for hours❤

Ohhhh the little thump when the duck fails to get back up made me tear up, and the abrupt end to the music. Also his little happy dance after leaving door #3 is so cute
so beautiful! the only thing I’d like changed is that his little flippers don’t make any noise. wish I heard a little “flip flap flip flap” whenever he runs

I think it's about not being afraid of dreaming big. But acting upon certain dreams and trying to achieve them can land us in bad situations, and that they were not meant for us anyway. But no matter what trouble we find ourselves, we always can climb out of the hole.

Although, one tiny little opinion; where the baby ducks were sleeping, I wish you didn't stick to the normal bed that humans use with them sleeping lying facing up or to the side. Rather, I wish you just imagined a bed that accommodates the way ducks naturally sleep where they just tuck their neck and feet into themselves. It would've been soo cute. Or the baby ducks sleeping cuddling up to the mum. But other than that I loved EVERYTHING about this lovely short!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

This was such a sweet animated short film, the color and highlights and stars. Oh the whimsical feelings, I got from the ducks curiousness to the actual panic Igot for our little friend when they fell. The world building is so interesting, it makes me want to dig deeper on the humanoid characters! Truly great work, I hope to see many more films from you! You are amazing!!!
