Another great video! Just acquired my first Norton so fun to see the internals. Total Accountability is a must when building , especially for hacks like me! I’m always left scratching my head when I see the way some dudes just toss around parts and hardware….
Good detective work. I can sort of understand accidentally dropping something into the cases, stuff happens... but I can't understand not realizing that you've done it and leaving it in there. I've only had my top end apart once, but I was paranoid about something falling down into the cases. I made sure to be extra carful. I bought an endoscope for 30 bucks on Amazon that i can use for something like a possible missing nut in the engine. Every mechanic (or wanna be mechanic) should have one.
Perfect example of FOD damage and why tool/component accountability is so important. A friend helped build my engine, I hope he did a better job than this guy's friend.

thank you!!
at least you have all the parts hahaha
lol and thread pitches
I opened my RUclips app and heard the phrase “Alarming bulges” Is it Norton engine forensics or a video about dating in the 2020’s 😂
LOL bro XD
Nice welding !! It's looking good, maybe a better camera required though.
thanks man and yeah i dont know what happened here it normally is so great!?
Maybe the odd nut on the Barrel base is a clue , where did the correct one go? Sorry you thought about that already. My bad!
lol you win!
7.20.24. 🤗Do Video the Transmission also❗️
ill do one of mine one of these days and make a good video on it
Nice work... Thanks for posting. If you found the barrels to be no good could they be saved... Considering they were already 60 over?
you can go with +080" but its not usually great... also sleeves can be done ive had to go that rout
Did Norton cast the valve seats into the head like Triumph did?
