Yeah! Clueless is based off the book Emma where Emma falls in love with her sister's husband's brother who she knew since her childhood (he's also like 15 years older).
It would be different if they met when they were young and grew up with each other as siblings but they met when they were adults. I think it would be a good idea for everyone, like the sister for example, to stop referring to him as their step brother, and for her to look at the dad as her father in law rather than step dad. I would just take the siblings part out of the equation entirely and just see it as a really cool connection. In the early 80's, there were afternoon movies for kids and teens. I remember a movie about step siblings falling in love and the fallout. Wishing them a lovely life together.
It's not like they grew up as children together? She's just dating her moms husband's kid. There consensual adults. And not related obviously so why is it weird? They where probly like 20 when they met.
As a kid, I had a crush on my stepbrother. So, I guess if I'd acted on it I'd be in the same kinda relationship as these two. 🤭 Thankfully I grew out of my crush!
I have no qualms whatsoever with their relationship. I’m not sure what the hang up is, is it because their parents are still together? Catelynn from teen mom is married to her step-brother, but their parents are no longer together, is it more acceptable in her and Tyler’s case. I’m happy for them! Beautiful couple!
Idc what no one says this is just weird. If no one would marry their brother/sister why would you marry someone that’s legally supposed to be your brother/sister? Just cause they don’t look like you? How many family members don’t look like each other but they’re still related somehow by blood 🥲 how you going to explain that to your siblings?
I find nothing wrong with step siblings being together romantically unless they was raised from a very young age as siblings and saw each other as big brother and little sister then it would be weird and sick.
Oh… well if they only met 4 years ago, I don’t even really understand the purpose of disclosing that they are “step siblings” At this point, they’re just a couple and they just happen to have parents who are together. They are the reason people are being weird about.
Fvcking thank you. This is what I needed to hear today. I just don’t understand why people are so upset about things like this, because it’s just them being happy.
My mom married my husbands dad. The difference is it was after my husbnad and i had been married for 15 yrs. They are still together & we've been married now for almost 30 yrs. Its def been strange revealing to ppl that we are technically step brother & sister & was interesting watching our youngest son grasp the concept that his moms mom married his dads dad. Had they met and married first, i would not have been able to have grown up with him as a brother & been attracted to him & open to date. Would have a boundary. Still it's a strange dynamic & esp other peoples reactions can be hilarious when they find out.
They aren't related so there is nothing wrong. HOWEVER, I would probably stop telling people they are siblings.. it makes things more weird than it needs to be.
The only thing about this that makes it incredibly bizarre and uncomfortable is the fact that they had started out as a regular sister/brother relationship and then evolved into this. A bit incest

@@rachelcurtis749 i think this person means the “IDEA” of it all is incesty- Most of us in this world are conditioned to think: brother/sister + mother/father + cousin + aunt/uncle = family related connection. Omg they are so cute together! The stigma of biological siblings is because of genetic problems any biological children would be more likely to suffer from, these two are not biologically related at all & if they had by chance met before their parents met nobody would have thought anything of it at all.
I wondered if they were from Finland beforehand, the reason I say this is because I was picking up on the Way everybody was speaking English (I like to affectionately call it “Finnglish”) & it sounds bad ass. If her mom decides to have child with his father will be their sibling both and how will they explain this whole thing to their half brother and sister?. Your brother from your dad side and I are married and you my brother because of my mom and our kids are your nephews and half your brothers and sisters. It will complicated situation if either of this couple decide to have kids🤷
If they had met when they were toddlers or at a very young age that would have been weird. But since they met when they were in their teenage years.... It was kinda bound to happen.... It's like living with a crush or a random guy from camp or something and developing feelings for each other over time. I mean in real life we hate our siblings or have that 'ewww my sibling" feeling cuz we were raised together with them and know every single thing, habit, and behaviour about them. So they are not biologically related... So who the hell cares... They can still have healthy babies unlike cousins getting married....
There’s a whole “genre” dedicated to this, in another forum lol (not to be crass). As long as they’re not blood related, nothings wrong from where I’m reading
This happened to me. But my stepbrother was my bf years before his dad met my mum. But we broke up it was just a summer thing. Then our parents met,got married etc. Lee( stepbro) took me aside and professed his feelings for me and wanting to get back together. He bought me a beautiful necklace that with a pendant of pressed flowers encapsulated in resin on a gold chain. He saw me looking at it once. I said we couldnt it would be wrong. He left to go away to work and then committed suicide months later. I always think what could have been.
They met for the first time when she was 23 and he was 28. That was at the parent's wedding. After that she only saw him a few times at family gatherings. They never lived together let alone grew up together. She never thought of him as a brother and barely thought of him at all. He was an adult man almost in his 30s when Matilde's mother first met Samuli and afterwards she only met him a handful of times. She never thought of him as a son. Samuli and Matilde first got to know each other after she invited him along to drinks with friends some time after the wedding. They got to know each other and were attracted to each other. There was never any brother and sister relationship and they were practically strangers before getting together. They never lived together until entering a relationship. It's a complete non-story.
I don't see anything wrong with this. Ppl are acting like it's incest. ....NO! Plus, the comment about "how could ur mom consider him like a son, then u marry him?" is just stupid. Do ppl forget that he would otherwise be her SON in LAW anyway? So it's really just silly to judge this one. It's certainly not something u see everyday, but imagine ur the daughter & ur mom is seeing a man & u see the man's son is close in age & ur somewhat attracted to eachother...really...what is wrong with that? But this is even better, bc they bonded on a friendly level before even having anything else? Enough to both get married! I'm happy to see 4 people all happy & noone is being taken advantage of or hurt. It's just a VERY tight knit new family, that's all!
These two could have met in a bar or other place and the same thing happened. Then the parents could have fell in love. They are not related by blood and these labels of step brother etc are meaningless. Nothing wrong with this at all......They are in love and its beautiful to see......great they are closer because of the relationship between parents. Perfect.

My oldest is 21 and my second is 19. I am remarried and happy but I didn’t let the backlash get to me. Because I do what I want.
Well, here’s an idea if you don’t post your business online, there will be no room for people to talk crap
There's literally nothing wrong with this.
I mean, that's completely normal, they are not related at all even if each of their parents got married.
I guess technically it's not incest. It's the stepsiblings connect that makes it socially awkward for many people.
They aren't blood related and didn't even grow up together from a young age. Them and their family all seem happy. I hope the best for them and don't let the haters and judgment of the world tear you down. Everyone that can't wrap your head around it should back off. They aren't hurting anyone.
Why is this one taboo? They’re not related and they met as adults. Not like they even grew up with each other.
Sure, it's a little weird. However, I think it's a hell of a lot better than just meeting on tinder like everyone else these days.
What-
Honestly this might be the most normal relationship out of all the rest.
Truth!
It’s not weird but they are milking their situation on tiktok 😂😂
In the early 80's, there were afternoon movies for kids and teens. I remember a movie about step siblings falling in love and the fallout.
Wishing them a lovely life together.
It's not like they grew up as children together? She's just dating her moms husband's kid. There consensual adults. And not related obviously so why is it weird? They where probly like 20 when they met.
As a kid, I had a crush on my stepbrother. So, I guess if I'd acted on it I'd be in the same kinda relationship as these two. 🤭 Thankfully I grew out of my crush!
Same haha
He's not your brother, go for it ❤
I don’t see it as weird, they aren’t related. It’s just… The parents should have been more cautious, that’s the aspect that’s wrong.
It didn't sound like they ever even lived together as step siblings. And she said when they kissed each other her room-mate was yelling no.
The hub wants their video back
I have no qualms whatsoever with their relationship. I’m not sure what the hang up is, is it because their parents are still together? Catelynn from teen mom is married to her step-brother, but their parents are no longer together, is it more acceptable in her and Tyler’s case. I’m happy for them! Beautiful couple!
It's the same as when 2 brothers marry 2 sisters.... They aren't blood related.
They're not related. Their parents just have a label. I don't see a problem.
Come on haters drop it! They aren't related actually and are beautiful young couple! And even if it's more than 4 years - They are NOT related!!!
I could never judge someone for what they love
No inbreeding here. I don’t see where the problem lies 🤔
It's like from 16 and Pregnant, Tyler and Catelynn got together then her mom married his dad 💁♀️
Nothing wrong with this relationship, they are not related. Congratulations guys 🥰
It’s still weird.
They’re not related tho, weird but possible
They aren't related so there is nothing wrong. HOWEVER, I would probably stop telling people they are siblings.. it makes things more weird than it needs to be.
I don't see anything wrong with it...they're not related..they weren't raised as brother and sister..sooo?
dont judge??? nahh this must be judged
these people are weird and ignorant
They met when their parents started dating. This means they didnt grow together as siblings. I see nothing wrong.
They making it weird with the tikotoks….
I love this for them. They were adults when they met
The only thing about this that makes it incredibly bizarre and uncomfortable is the fact that they had started out as a regular sister/brother relationship and then evolved into this. A bit incest
How in the hell is this insest ok insest is when two blood family members hook up get married these are two conventional adults who happen to have parents that are married for people need to get over there shit
Please research incest 🤦 they are not blood related therefore there is no incest going on
@@rachelcurtis749 i think this person means the “IDEA” of it all is incesty- Most of us in this world are conditioned to think: brother/sister + mother/father + cousin + aunt/uncle = family related connection. We are also conditioned if family connections turns into romantic or lust its “TABOO” I get that their not doing anything incest because they are two completely different people with no gene 🧬 connection at all. BUT its the “IDEA” that they are family connected with their parents & now have a romantic relationship. just the ‘idea’ that they ‘did’ have some brother/sister sibling connections at ONE POINT in their life together.
They didn't though... They only met 4byears ago and we're awkward because they had a crush already on one another. They panicked trying to deny feelings but caved in just months so no they didn't look at one another as a sibling
There not blood related
So what? They aren’t blood.
I guess it cuts out the discussion on whose family to visit for Christmas.
They didn’t grow up together as stepsiblings they only met 4 years prior, there’s actually nothing to talk about here
They're not blood relatives, it's not that weird then.
No blood relationship its not creepy its Beautiful
Stay in Love
It depends on their age…if they grew up as young children, then that’s a bit concerning but biologically, normal.
I know such couple, they dated and their parents lived together. They are not together anymore. I think this is fine because they are not real brother and sister, it's the circumstances that brought them together
This is like every wattpad story 😅
They want as adults.... So it isn't weird. It's not like they were raised together
Why does he remind me of Darcy's Dutch ex from 90 Day Fiance...
I like the comment „you can Not take comments from unknown person seriously“ And That is True. It is your Life. Only you can to judge it. And for me you Looks very happy. Keep that. Be happy and Enjoy live because it is too Short. Thanks for Sharing. ❤
Wasn’t this the same situation in the movie CLUELESS ? (With Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd)
I guess this is what happens when you’ve nearly been a Nightwish fan for 17 years?
Samuli has really nice nails and him and Matilda together just look absolutely fucking adorable.
Anyway, you guys rock 🤘🖤🖤🤘
All the best to you both
Right!! Suomi Finland perkele 🤘🏻
Right! A super attractive couple… we’ll family… everyone is so good looking
They're not even related and were older when they met. What's so weird about it
If they had met when they were toddlers or at a very young age that would have been weird.
What's the genre and what's the forum? 🤔
If you are born from different parents.nothing is wrong.
Good on you don’t worry about all the haters
I mean....everyone excepts Tyler and Catelyn from teen mom and they're in the SAME situation WITH kids 🤷
I think it would be wrong if they grew up together but the parents only been together four years . Big whoop do your thing
I thought you guys were similar, before seeing the title. I think everyone chooses what they want in their life.
They are not blood related,
People having unnecessary opinions, nothing wrong with it.
These two could have met in a bar or other place and the same thing happened. Then the parents could have fell in love. They are not related by blood and these labels of step brother etc are meaningless. Nothing wrong with this at all......They are in love and its beautiful to see......great they are closer because of the relationship between parents. Perfect.
not my place to judge, as long as it works for them and they are happy
