I feel bad for Sal. He loved her when she was his nanny and was happy when his dad and she got together. But everything changed when she made it clear that he wasn’t her son, so she wasn’t going to drive him to school. That shattered his little 12-year-old heart, and he stopped caring for her, eventually growing to resent her. This boy didn’t have a mom and was probably yearning for that kind of bond. I can’t understand how his dad was okay with this. I would never be with someone I’m financially supporting who refuses to drive my child to school. The worst part is that they don’t even acknowledge how messed up that was and how deeply it hurt him. Instead, they seem tired of how “he still isn’t over it” and “still brings this up after years.” No wonder-it’s hard to get closure and move on from something you never got an apology for, let alone had acknowledged. The dad is more concerned with whether his kids recognize they have a “hot stepmom.” But his son didn’t care about having a hot stepmom; he cared about having a mother figure. How dense can you be? His son is practically shouting how he feels, and all the dad can say is, “So your friends tell you that you have a hot stepmom?” I feel so bad for Sal.
Women see men as the provider. Men see their women as their servants/housemaids/sex slaves. Point blank period. Look at history and see basically sums it up
