Excellent video! It's also important to remember that a lot of the problem with GMOs is not simply a question of what big companies choose to do, but how flawed regulations promote "Round-Up Ready" endeavors over more helpful drought-resistant or nutrient-bountiful endeavors. For more information, read Heather Hosmer's legal analysis "Outgrowing Agency Oversight: Genetically Modified Crops and the Regulatory Commons Theory"

I wish I could be linked a video on this topic that didn't contain anything false or disingenuous, just to shake things up.

Your channel is good. But please include whether your opinion is shared by agrologists world wide.

The 2nd problem you outlined, the resistance issue. That is why they are supposed to have a genetic refuse heap. They are told this by the company setting up the contract with them. Not Monsanto's fault if they misuse agricultural tools, and the environment fights back harder as a result.

About your point that they benefit corporations more than they help farmers... Based on what. "Many critics"? Well that's meaningless, show me the math, show me the lack of efficacy.

Why do you assume that going low tech is superior to high tech? Why can't both be operating towards the same solution? More food.

In response to your ridiculous claim about the indians committing suicide due to GM crops/Roundup, yeah that's not entirely true. Google "The “GM genocide”: A case of misplaced blame"
It's hard to believe you didn't question your own conclusions, or those of the people that fed you this information to put in your video.

if my kid was a substistence farmer in a 3rd world country, I would tell him to move to a city like 70% of farmers have already done.

Isn't this just trying to find ways around the problem rather than facing it for what it is? Overpopulation. The video seems to only excuse it and try to find a way around.
