The strategy shown did not work for me yesterday, because I faced two problems: 1)The USA joined the Allies on November 18th 1939, just two month after my war declaration. 2)The 1 cavalry templates I recruited like you did just died during combat, I guess their power was two weak. I think I still just suck at HOI4, especially warfare, but I will try it again soon, since it looks so much fun what you are doing in this video. I'd honestly love some multi-episode videos of games. Like i enjoy etching the set up and long form break downs. But I also know it's not the best economically anniversary respect that.
On the topic of Mexico: Mexico had a string of great presidents from Adolfo de la Huerta to Adolfo Ruíz Cortínez and Adolfo López Mateos, from the 1920s to 1950s. Out of them all the outlier and undoubtedly the best of them was Lázaro Cárdenas, portrayed there in HOI4. Before you say it, yeah, there were suspiciously a lot of Adolfos in office in that time period.

Hey Stakuyi, have you considered playing Victoria 2 GFM mod? In it if you play as the US you can annex all of Mexico during the Mexican-American War and it actually has knock on effects for the Civil War where Mexico will rise up along with the CSA (it counts as a separate war). After you defeat Mexico a second time you get cores on all of it.
