Lol, Leviathan just moved 50 points from his Def to his Atk, which lines up exactly with how they did the Corrupted Eviswarm versions of the ice barrier synchros

@@TheMysticRabbit0wnzu Ice Barrier summoned their dragons to kill the Worms and they lost. Survivors of the Ice Barrier rescued some kids from the Gustos and they created the Ghiski faction. Ghiski tryed to summon the Steelswarm (I can't remember why, think to maybe defeat malfunctioning Ally of Justice?), Steelswarm hercules corrupted the leader of the Ghiski and made her evil. The Steelswarm escape and begin causing chaos and attempting to possess and posion other characters from the lore creating the Evilswarm. All of the evilswarm Xyz monsters are the corrupted and poisoned versions of the Ice Barrier monsters.

My buddy just manifested this.
I have proof.
My friend doesn't play yugioh at all, but he was talking to me after I got back from locals.
I tell him we got to "the fabled turn 3"
And he says "oh that reminds me of Fabled 3. Cool game"
I start cracking up since he basically just did a Dougzeff.
I show him the reference.
He asks if Fabled is a good deck.
...so I start explaining peak Yugioh to this guy. It's the first time I've seen him actually show any interest in any cards ever. 30 or so minutes later, I noticed this video had just been posted. And I'm struggling to explain how unlikely this series of events is.
Anyway thought i'd leave a comment now that we're done talking.
I believe Andwraith killed Leviathan in a civil war (Fabled Treason) between their own kind, all the while the world outside was still busy dealing with the worms. All of the fabled forces still on the outside world (includes Fabled Ragin and Fabled Unicore) were killed by Jurrac meteor, and the gate that led to the Fabled realm was sealed by Trishula's ice when it went on rampage.
Either he had it with him all this time, or the origin of steelswarm found itself in Fabled realm after Vylon Omega kicked evilswarm herdules' arse to kingdom come, it revived Leviathan (albeit unlike others revived by lswarm, he seemed to have kept his concience). He then reopen the gate and possibly once again play the mastermind, but this time becoming the person behind the spread of lswarm.
The ocg name of the revived Leviathan has 'verz' in his name (Leverzebul). Verz is evilswarm ocg name.
The blue in Fabled Realm Resurrection looks more like layers of ice crystal being bursted by the opening of the gate instead of blue flame.
Sorry to burst your bubble but the happenings of "Fabled treason" end poorly for Andwraith with him on the losing side, that is pointed out in the new storyline in the solo mode of master duel that covers the fabled.

I admit that I forgot about Master Duel Single Player story, though that doesn't change the part about the gate being encased in ice, and that Leviathan is infected with lswarm. I was under the assumption that every single evilswarm monsters (except kerykeion) are dead beings controlled by the evilswarm evil intent, so I just assumed that Leviathan died during Andwraith's rebellion.
If anything, the part about the gate being encased in ice simply give us idea on what stopped the fabled from wreaking more havoc.
I love the confirmation that Leviathan is basically the DIO or Kars of Terminal World and everything that happens is his fault in some way. "Oh, who was in charge of the Ancient Lswarm that ravaged the past and infected the Ice Barrier clan hundreds of years later due to a failed channeling? Yeah that was Leviathan. Who was the dark gods that caused the Tellars to come down from the heavens? Yeah that was Leviathan and the Fabled too. How did the worms find Terminus? Probably Leviathan....."
WHOOOOOOO, never any complaints about more Fabled, they're one of my favorite Archetypes!!!
12:56 I'd assumed that the blue was ice from trishula. Leviathan is either closing the door to escape from the ice or reopening it after its safe to come out.
I'm going with reopening it. After his near fatal death and eventual overtake by the lswarm virus, and even obtaining control over its influence, he goes back to reclaim his throne. Which probably has been idle or claimed by Andwraith for far too long
not sure if itll actually work like this but since behemoth doesn't specify discarding non-tuner Fabled monsters, it's entirely possible to make a synchro with only tuners

Yaaay! I still have my entire fabled deck still put together. I’m soooo happy.
And your video showed up randomly on a day I was feeling pretty trash.
I love them, finally actual good Synchros outside of Ragin, and I really wanted a Level 4 Tuner Synchro too. The card I love the most however, is the Continuous Spell. I'm never being a big fan of running Treason, because the Decks requires you play as many Fabled monsters as possible and your field gets too cramped to many times to use it, but it may be worthy if is this easy to get. In particular I love it second effects, it gives me huge Opening of the Spirit Gates vibes, with it soft once per turn in a card that can be activated only once itself, that get crazy on turn 3 and just really fun in general, especially when it can also get you back your banished monsters (Ganesha and Abanc mostly) or draw 1.
My only complain is that it doesn't really continues the storyline Andwraith's treason.
I don't know what this says about either card, but there's a lot of Toadally Awesome in Fabledswarm Leverzebul's effect. Negate and permanently steal cards your opponent controls. Recycle engine components as a graveyard effect. They're both different, but the concepts are similar. I'm just glad he can't also summon a monster.
so I think when you looked over these cards there was a couple of errors, at least on names, for example, from what I've been finding, the new synchro for Leviathan is apparently called "Fabledswarm Leverzebul" which yeah, that is a fun name, also behemoth is a beast, the fiend thing was also an error, actual name being "Behillmoth"
Waiting for a proper confirmation of course but I feel like this is The Fabled fusing with the Evilswarm as opposed to them being the origin to the Evilswarm.
Part of this reason is because - in the middle of The Fabled and right before Trishula attacked - Noellia and Natalia made contact with the Steelswarm as a possible alternative to ending the war. It would feel a bit strange for The Fabled to just be connected to that.
Maybe a past Fabled was the Lswarm origin
But if Fabled and Lswarm combine, would that make a wholly new archetype? Or would we just see that in like 4 new Lswarm cards

Both come from beneath the surface, I think that's the connection between them
Also in the same book, we got this about the Gishki
"The two had their eyes on demons called "Steelswarm", which had been sealed since ancient times, as a means to defeat the "Fabled". They attempted a Demon-Summoning Technique derived from mystical arts handed down to members of the "Ice Barrier" through the generations."

I was just listening to the OG duel terminal story the other day, then this pops up. Interesting timing.
Interesting thingi noticed is Fabled behometh doesnt synchro summon. Its effect just special summons from the ED by discarding the correct levels and then treats it as being synchro summoned. What this means is you dont need to abide by whether the monsters are tuners or non tuners. So you can dumped 2 tuners or non tuners for the synchro summon if you want...at least that's the way im reading it

A thing you might have missed about the Synchro 10: It's also a monster negate
Let's say you play against Snake-Eyes and they normal summon Snake-Eyes Ash ; if you CL2 the steal effect ; you "negate its effect" at resolution, which mean the opponent never get to resolve the CL1
It's moreso a steal effect attached to a monster negate rather then just a steal effect ; which make it significantly better generically
2:20 It's arguably better, since it's on a body, which you can do more woth than just a spell(since iirc Dark Worlds got exactly what you mentioned in spell form), and you can do more with a body than a spell most of the time, even if it's in the grave or sometimes the banished zone.

A lot of the fabled tuners are beasts and a lot of the non-tuners are fiends. Not all in both cases but most.
Somehow not the decisive aspect. Ones with “The Fabled” in the name, (idk why they call them that) are the Beast ones. And if they don’t have a the, it’ll be a Fiend.
Resurrection looks to be breaking the ice barrier to me, not fire.

What blue flames? What Flood? The Fabled were in the area of the early storyline, counting mist valley, ice barrier, ... the area that was turned into a popsicle by releasing all three Ice Barrier dragons. If you ask me, the blue in front of the gate is not flames or something, but the ice, that covers the whole area
Time placement is difficult exept for "at some point after the Worm storyark"
Both the Fabled and the Steelswarm were fiends, and both were locked away since time immemorial, and the Steelswarms were originally going to be summoned to fight the fabled.
Maybe Leviathans mask is actually just the Steelswarm origin, and it was all his plan? Since that was near the end of the war against the fabled anyway.
It might be decently viable if combined with the Fiendsmith engine.
Behemoth and Krus is a 2 card combo that can Synchro climb straight into the new boss monster.
Also, it's kinda crazy that Leverzebul's steal/negate effect is a soft once per turn. You activate it on your opponent's turn to Tribute, negate and steal. Activate Fabled Treason to revive Leverzebul, discard then pop a face-up card. Then steal and negate another monster.
Fabled can get 3 interruptions, 4 if you discard Catsith with Fabled Treason
1) The new main deck monster also means we can cheat out Unicorn
2) The materials for Fabledswarm finally means we can take advantage of Andwraith's steal effect. Allowing us to use any monster we steal as climbing material, regardless whether we steal a tuner or non-tuner
3) So with Gamygym and Fabledswarm, does that mean we start running 1 Soulkius? Or even Dianaira for spell negate?
spell does improve a massive problem with fabled:
A grind game. Consistently being able to revive or draw is amazing in a combo heavy deck.
with Fiendsmith, deck is gonna get lots of new lines.

my duel terminat lore is a little rusty, but wasnt it the case that the worm, the fabled, lswarm, and tellars are related because they were created by tierra to try and get as many of the creatures in the duel terminal to die so her plan to free herself from the naturia world tree would work?

The Steelswarm existed before the Fabled got destroyed right? So maybe a past Fabled was the Steelswarm Origin and these cards are the reborn Fabled, maybe merging with the power of the Lswarm?

He died. He tried to kill Leviatan and he failed. This event happens before they were released.
@@vladniculescu1772 I am aware that this was prior. It would have been nice to have a card that shows the conclusion though, as it's a bit of a bummer to have that not concluded and instead getting random redcons on how Leviathan got corrupted and somehow made no impact in the Lswarm story
@vladniculescu1772 I think it goes the other way andwrath killed leviathan but gets killed by trishula while leviathan gets resurrected by steelswarm origin.

Ressurection of the Fabled Realm most likely really just portraying Leviathan re-opening the line between mortal and Fabled realm.
Like none of these imply they've been in war with the other Tribes. Be it a damaged Fabled monster to imply battle experience or such.
Like at least Genex have a wholy new ultimate weapon, the Return Zero, skew the timeline a bit.
