Lol this was just after (Real Name Chris Pallies) Bundy (aka King Kong) was discovered and trained by Fritz Von Erich (as mentioned in the video) in WCCW, and before he headed to the WWF in 1985
@@DMS-pq8 who is Larry Sharp? In the "reality" I know, there was an "Iron" Mike Sharpe, who was the wrestling son of a wrestler named Larry Sharpe, but don't know this other "Sharp" you speak of. 🤷😆 I also noticed that you didn't put your own comments, in the main section, just commented on others comments. 🤦🤡
@@simplysteve68 "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe was a former wrestler & manager, and owner of the "Monster Factory" wrestling school in New Jersey. The most famous graduate of this school was Bam Bam Bigelow, for whom Sharpe also served as manager for the first few years of his career, in Memphis, World Class and New Japan. Wrestlers he trained prior to opening his school include Bundy, Kevin Von Erich & Tony Atlas.

Great wrestling action from WCCW in Dallas Texas
I'm from Oklahoma and remember these great days

Sounds like Gene Goodson on play by play.Great action caller.Wish he’d stayed at the Sportatorium.
A lot better than Bill Mercer
@@DMS-pq8 or his successor Marc Lowrance, I thought Bill Mercer was great anyway. 🤷
@@simplysteve68 Mercer rambled too much for me, But I did like Lowrance
I like Bill Mercer but this guys a pretty good announcer:) I don’t remember hearing him before..
Separated at birth - Bugsy McGraw and guitarist John Scofield.
For those who don't know, Bugsy McGaw studied nursing after he retired from wrestling and actually nursed Jack Brisco at the end of his life.
Bugsy against a very green Bundy.
Undefeated? Bundy lost every week on television in the WWF in 1980-81.
Wow! King Kong Buddy before he became famous!
Already showing some wrestling skills. But jobbing to McGraw ?!
@@PassivePortfolios…He had to pay his dues, get experience, and work hard to get a push! He did it!
King Kong Bundy was NOT as strong as Andre the Giant.
"Real wrestling" right boomers 😆
