Hello Matt. She's looking good! Tail lights look great also. I don't remember the sequence for installi g the brake booster, but I thought that I mounted it to the bracket first before I stalling the assembly to the firewall. But I know how you like to take things on and off. Lol

Hey Matt, your taking your chances with those booster nuts. They have been including them in the box for decades. Ive gotten a few that turned into a science experiment. Power Brake Booster Exchange has gone through some changes and has changed hands a few times in the past few years. Before it was Brake Booster Dewey, then Steve, and now I think its Brad?? You were lucky to get quick uninterrupted service from them. The last time I contacted them, a few years ago, they turned me away because the new owner was sick and they didn’t have any cores anymore. You had to send them yours and hope to get it back in a few months, their words. Fortunately, Birds Nest makes that same brake booster new now and it can be used in place of the screw type booster too. Cores are becoming harder and harder to come by these days.
I like the LED tail light lenses. I have not seen those before, very cool. Ill have to look into that and maybe put some on my car. Nice job.
Yes the dash work is hard and time consuming. I went through that on the T & L car and it was hard. I had some help and that was good. Thanks for the video.

Good to hear from you again Nick. The booster nuts were very bad.. lol. I was just up in Portland bringing my daughter to school and stopped by to see Birds Nest. I had no idea how much old stock.and used parts they have. Wow!! Very good people to just hangout with and talk. They have a small shop now that only works brake boosters. I got the LED lights from them, so if you’re interested.

You're likely on the road by now, but have a safe trip to Oregon Matt.

No E brake 😮 use a block of wood? The trunk light is that the original mercury switch or a new one? Disconnected mine as was playing up and not sure it was switched off when trunk closed.

Hey Steven. I never thought about how the trunk light switches on and off. I didn't see any switch for it when I disassembled it. I guess I have some research to do.
