That Rosanna shuffle on the drums is one of the hardest beats to get to sound just right, props to the drummer

He does play them. In fact he plays them in a clearer fashion than Porcaro played them live. His snare is tuned more sharply than Jeff's was , so they are more audible. By the way, it's a myth that drummers agree it's one of the more difficult shuffles. In my opinion it isn't . I know plenty of them that are more difficult and quite a few other drummers i've spoken with agree.

Not exactly the most underrated, but not as appreciated as they deserve to be. With great musicians like David Paich, Jeff porcaro and his brothers Steve and Mike, with great hits like Angel Dont Cry, Holyanna,Pamela, till the end, and the next most popular song I'll be Over You

UNderrated, you need to look at the definition as Daniel Simmons suggests. They were greatly under-appreciated in the States because of the Rolling Stones Magazine and the radio stations, but they had a huge following in Europe and Japan. IN the US they may not have been appreciated collectively, but individually there were none better. OVer 90% of the worlds population has heard a song that one or more of the band members of Toto were directly involved in. No other group of musicians can ever make that claim. Toto is the best all round band

who couldn't hold a note without autotune if their life depended on it.
Though in all fairness you cant bash ALL modern music because truthfully there are many great modern songs, but truthfully these were the better times when they actually used instruments
Argle Bargle autotune isn’t a talent replacer. If you’re stupidly out and use autotune you’ll sound like a robot.
Modern singers can better than they’re given credit for. Blame the record labels for wanting everything perfectly in tune and perfectly in time.
Steve Lukather’s guitar solo on this song is one of the all-time best solos, imo, and the lead guitarist absolutely nailed it here. GREAT cover!
The best cover band in the world and what makes them so great is their eclectic range of songs. The drummer nails it.
No words can be enough for these young folks. Sound mix is off the charts excellent. Drummer is the man. He is in the pocket big time with his roles done so smoothly it's scary. What a band, what an idea for a show. Oh yea, guitar player is a monster player with great tones from his amp.
These kids are fortunate to have a musical outlet like this if they choose not to go original. I did not have this kind of chance in my day. Great job guys and girls. Hat's off to the people that put these musicians together. Nice tricky ending. That drummer, is in DEEP concentration. That Lead Guitarist, must have sat down and practiced, since he was 2. Awesome!

The drummer is fantastic. Jeff Porcaro's legendary Rosanna shuffle is consider an iconic drum beat. This drummer nails it. The vocals are great too, though Bobby Kimball's high notes are so distinctive that I don't think anyone could truly replicate the sound...still, a really, really great cover of this fantastic song.
The guitar player with the long hair and glasses has a wicked tone and is a great player!!!!!!!

These guys really do a great job. It's obvious that they have studied Toto's live performances of this song. No cover can be spot on but they actually put their own stamp on it which is the way a cover is done well (making it your own).

I've never been a Toto fan, BUT I love how this band does this song! I've never once sought out a Toto video on youtube, but I've watched this band perform this song at least 8 times. I just adore them, their sound, their style. A terrific band when they can make you like a song you were completely indifferent to before.

Just incredible vocal range by both lead singers, and your drummer does the late Jeff Porcaro proud. Impossible that there's a better cover out there anywhere.
Good, but it is not Jeff Porcaro's version. This guy is doing things differently.
He's not playing Porcaro's dead notes and the hi hat is much more choppy. The singers are doing great, but like pretty much everything from the classic rock show, it is sorely lacking in personality.

The Jay Sekulow Band does a pretty good cover of this as well.
If everyone was as good as Jeff, Jeff wouldn't be considered good. This guy doesn't suck. He may not play it exactly the same as Jeff, but he does a damn fucking good job of it. And it's entertaining. Not impressed, hit that back button and high brow your asses to some other post that makes you feel better.

Watched this and the other clip over and over again. The energy is infectious. Brilliant. However no one seems to have noticed the addition of the arpeggios, organ and brass bits. Must be done from the desk and all playing to a click track. Anyone ??

I have to say that the drummer is really amazing. He 's not even close as far as playing the original beats and fills
that Jeff Porcaro played but he nails the groove and his beats and fills are dead on musical. Amazing job.
Not true. In fact he plays it almost exactly the same as Porcaro did on the official recording , ghost notes and all. Besides , Porcaro himself almost never played that same version when he played it live.

If Paich/Lukather/Porcaro decide to have their band name still floating (TOTO: Live 20##) while they're retired, they should consider most of the members on this cover band. They sound great.
