Actors do NOT work 20 mins a day. They work for hours on end. There are about a thousand ways to say ONE line. Imagine doing ONE scene, and having to do it over and over to get the perfect take.
Actors don't work 20 minutes a day. Do you realise it's ridiculus? He meant they shot 20 minutes of footage acceptable for final cut. To shoot it there must be countless takes.

He's saying in all they shoot 20 minutes worth of footage as opposed to 2 minutes like normal movies. I guess his wording IS a bit confusing.
