It`s a shame after having to pay 40K you have to go threw all of that just to make the noise level comfortable. Great job though! will give a lot of us some ideas! look forward to the update.
Yeah, I agree at that price point they could have paid a little more attention to the noise. but at the end of the day, it is still a side by side. With this machine I take a lot of farmers and landowners around their properties so being able to have a conversation is important so that is why I did all the sound proofing work. My son and I did the work in the garage in the evenings after work, so it was fun doing it together in a heated garage when there wasn't much else to do anyways. I really need to ride in a stock machine, with stock clutching, wheels and no sound proofing to get a decibel reading to show if the work I did made much of a difference.
