The balance is too heavily skewed towards the mics inside the piano. That's why the tone sounds ridiculously brittle. Such manipulation of sound by sound engineers is absolutely disgraceful and unmusical, and completely different to what it sounds like in concert.
I really hope it was recorded before the war, because if not then its such a shame that Yoav went to perform in russia. Music is not enough, one also needs to be a human being... such a shame.
