I never got to see Megadeth live, but recently I went to see one of my favorites bands ever (Patricio Rey) and they started with one of my favorite songs that they barely play live, and I felt exactly like that woman. That feeling is just precious.
yes, megadeth could never be or sound the same without dave, but marty friedmen also has a MAJOR part in the sound that made megadeth worldwide. he's amazing. his exotic style fit with dave so amazingly.
To each their own man. Personally Megadeth will always be one of my favorite bands and Dave Mustaine always one of the best songwriters. I don't have a problem with you not liking them, unless you're trolling them. That's the only time i'd get pissed off about it. Peak Megadeth, for sure. Saw them live in October '92 when Pantera supported them on the European leg of the Countdown To Extinction tour. . . awesome gig. This show right here, though, might just be their tightest ever, especially in regard to Mustaine's vocals.
