Today I went to a local place here, and worked on a 2015 Ford Explorer upfitting it with lights on the mirrors and tailgate lights, I really enjoy this kind of work
I must say, your guys did an excellent job on those lights. I have been thinking for some time now of trying it I just haven't been ready to do it but seeings how you guys have, it gives me plenty more ideas. Thanks.
15:40 they should have switched the two LED lights where the fog lights used to be. I think that it would look more balanced out to have a blue fog light and a red intersector light. As well as some red/blue hide a blasts in the head lights like the ones in the tail lights.. Just my two cents.
Nice install, and informative video. Not sure if the customer chose the color configurations, but I would have like to have seen the interior bar as all red on one side, and all blue on the opposite. Same for the deck lights, one red and one blue instead of two red/blue split. You lose so much effectiveness with split lightheads and different colors right next to each other. Nonetheless, great video guys!
what happened to the wig wag headlights, or do they come on only when the siren is on? cheap front end that charger has. one small accident and the front is totaled.
It's kind of hard to make a under cover police car. Because already on the road people are looking out for all crown Vic's Ford Taurus Dodge Charger and Ford Explorer. In the state i live in they have started to use Dodge grand caravans as unmarked police vehicles. But they still mainly use the fords I live in Pa and i can spot a police car a mile away and those interceptors scream I'm a police car even if they have tint. The most cleaver vehicle I seen as a unmarked car you guys installed was the Subaru Legacy. That doesn't scream at you in anger saying I'm a police car. It looks very much like and ordinary car. But can you start posting installs of more unmarked vehicles? I'd really appreciate it🙂
Is there any way you guys could help me out with an issue with my 2013 charger pursuit? I’m trying to find out how to reverse whatever was done to the trunk buttons to make them work properly? The dash button only works when vehicle is started and trunk button not at all. I’m sure this was done when the car was being upfitted. Any info will be a huge help. Thank you!
Hi Ryan. Your questions out of our realm of knowledge. If you'd like to ask Star Cars, LLC., they've reachable through email: starcars@frontier.com. You could also try to find the up fitter that built the Charger initially to see what exactly they did to disable the trunk.

+DAS_OSSI Thank You for watching :) We love hearing from folks over-sea's that enjoy our Installation Presentations. Star Cars does an outstanding job on all of their Builds. It's really impressive to see a stock bodied Car, Truck or SUV get completely taken apart and then built back-up for Department use. It's a lot of hours and tedious wiring. We have a wide variety of Vehicles in our Video roster, so please but sure to take a look at our other Sirennet TV Videos :)
SIRENNET it is translated with Google :-) Thank you for an answer! I've been a few watched your videos, they are very interesting. If you use the with you also German products as of "Hella" or "Hänsch"? That's me, at least well-known companies which are installed with us, probably also other manufacturers. I am interested only for themselves and in the private car have a warning light for span, I can not say what will be built in Germany unfortunately. Nevertheless, there seems to us no one of it like filming with you. Of course it is also very amazing how many are specially fitted cable. I will continue from time to time when you drop by what was to come for new videos. :-) Kind regards from here #Erfurt from the Green Heart of Germany (Erfurt is located in Thuringia, similar to you the states "Texas, Ohio, etc." greeting #DAS_OSSI Ham Radio (Amateur Radio) DO1LHE
+DAS_OSSI We're very familiar with Hella. We offer a few of there Products on our online Catalog. They make amazing Lighting and Electronics. Hella even worked with Chrysler over the years and made specific fixtures for Jeeps. We really enjoy what we do and presenting the Equipment in our special way really helps to set us apart. Thank You for watching :) We have a lot of new Builds coming up :)
SIRENNET Translatet with google, sorry :-( 30-60 amps are already performing well. :-D (the alternator'm sorry that needs recharging) :-b I'm impressed that you're working with Hella together, and they with you. www (dot) fg (dash -) Haensch (dot) de, this is the homepage of Hänsch, if you're interested? I can only say again how excited I am! As I saw in your video are the Federel signal very bright, and very expensive, but visually in the warning effect in the front or rear area very awesome. I think in orange or yellow, they will be just as bright? I wish you a nice Advent time and beautiful contemplative Christmas. Kind regards back over the Big Pool Bye from DAS_OSSI My Name is Karsten
Rhys Thomas The White Take-down's have two functions. They can be flashed for White light to the front of the Vehicle when it is running code. They can then be used independent as a Steady-on White Take-down for night-time illumination when on Scene or a Traffic stop.

sir need help trying to fuse tap my fuse box with color changing leds blubs from lumen can you tell what is good place to fuse tap in the front fuse box for acc poweer?
+huesuesues The Black Charger to the side (with the Spot Light) was built into a marked Cruiser. But some slick-top's do end up see Spotlights added on the Pillars.
At 15:39 I had my volume all the way up and I was just wearing one headphone I felt like my ear drum was being pushed through the other ear hahaha

Those lights underneath the mirrors are easy to spot.
Dead giveaway. You'd like to think that nowadays they'd have the technology to make those lights a lower profile. 🤔
They used a spray-on product from Rust-Oleum. It is their "smoked" lens tint.
14:57 I saw that calendar! Lol 😂😂😂
Chase BishopVlogs LOL

Ohhh wooow. I love your work guys!! Super clean keep it up. Dont stop posting this videos
Flash pattern for the Inner Pinnacle is too fast. Looks like a wall of purple.
Doing this for a living is awesome!
Right😄
Could you guys do a in-depth with how the power distribution is weird? I’m very curious

Great video
The tint was applied to the Lens that is affixed over each diode set.
The Wig-wag function is provided by an OEM module.

When he said he tinted that interior lightbar on the car, did he put that tint on the lights themselves?
How can I get certified doing those install have 20plus years 12volt audio

Did you ever figure out how to fix the trunk issue and or did you also have the taillights not working?
People don’t get there’s a difference between unmarked and undercover. This is unmarked. Undercover cars you don’t see that often for obvious reasons.
what is the cost for all items installed?
Holy cow those cables
How many hours did this take to build? ???
What about the other Dodge next to Dodge?!!!
Are the wig wags standard on the charger pursuit?
how were the lights tinted
its where the front headlights flash back and forth.
What is the bracket used to mount the side lights on top of the rear door panels?
That's the multi-mount bracket. Soundoff Signal includes it with the Ghost lights.

do the n-force leds have a function to allow red and white flashing, but switch to steady white?
Jonathan Moorhead sure does I have them in my shop
The wig wags on my charger went out on me a month ago and I can't find the unit to replace it, any ideas?
A popular unit to replace the Factory flasher is Soundoff Signals- ETHFSS-SP.
It can be found in our Flasher Section on Sirennet.com.
So every police agency has a specific light package for thier cars
Every agency has there own requirements, preferences and ideas.
What's the idea of the 'take downs'? You say that they steady burn as well as flash.
Rhys Thomas The White Take-down's have two functions. They can be flashed for White light to the front of the Vehicle when it is running code. They can then be used independent as a Steady-on White Take-down for night-time illumination when on Scene or a Traffic stop.
Just a fancy name for a work light! Ha
Thanks both :)
how is it that the tailights are flashing, what is it called or how do you do it?
To Flash the LED sections as shown, Star Cars LLC wired in a Whelen ULF44. It is a stand-alone LED Flasher Control Module.

9:25 what light is in the fog light?
Those are a Whelen Engineering 2EB00ZCR & 2ER00ZCR, 4" Round Extended Lens PAR36 Super-LED.
sir need help trying to fuse tap my fuse box with color changing leds blubs from lumen can you tell what is good place to fuse tap in the front fuse box for acc poweer?
That's a great question for Star Cars. If you'd like to reach out to them, they're available at: Starcars@frontier.com
ARMED5.7HEMI all you have to do is use a voltage detector to see which fuse turns on and off with ignition.
Get er done.
tinting the lights so they are nearly invisible.
but that huge spotligt screams thats a police car :D
+huesuesues The Black Charger to the side (with the Spot Light) was built into a marked Cruiser. But some slick-top's do end up see Spotlights added on the Pillars.
+SIRENNET my fault.
mixed those two cars together in my head :o

what is that?
Interesting.
mirror lights should be hidden
It needs some hubcaps
He kinda looks like Parker from mcjuggernuggets
