I believe that this is from this year's Merrie Monarch Festival which was held in April on the Big Island (Hilo). You can see much smaller Hula performances on all of the Islands though. I lived on O'ahu for a few years back in the 80's and still Hula! Going to Maui five years from now and I can't wait either! Enjoy the Aloha!
She was marvelous! Though my favorite performance of the entire night was by Breeze Pavao - superb hula kahiko. This halau is one of my favorites, from keiki to grownups!
