Thanks so much for posting this! The people at the MM office had all of the MAH videos taken down in a little over 24 hours after the MAH part of the festival was over... My favorite hula kahiko performance was by Breeze Pavao.
I am so happy to see” Kuu home a I Kaneohe” by Louise Hopkins . I remember seeing her niece dance and sing this song about Mrs. Hopkins beautiful home in Kaneohe where the magnificent Ko’olau mountains were in constant view. My family lived in Kaneohe for many years and all of us have a great fondness for the Ko’olaus. Well done Miss Aloha Hula 2023.
