I love this house tour so much. It's not 'showy' like a lot of the ones you see. You have filled your house with memories and sentiments and it's so lovely that you've shared it all with us ❤️
Jules G-S you got it right! This their home, not the house with good resale value. So European. It is the home where often few generations grow old. Those memories and details are the part of the tradition. She brought with her something that belonged to her grandmother or grand aunt. I grew up like that and I still love it:)

I love that this was such a personable and not over the top “look at all my stuff - look at how much money I have” video. Your home is so cozy and inviting and not sterile and cold. It gives us even more insight into what a genuine down to earth person/couple you and Darren are.
I love how you didn't clean all the rooms before filming. I mean, when you work a lot, it's hard to keep the house clean. And not everyone can afford a cleaning lady. Of course your house is clean, but it's obvious that people live in it. I hate in when someone does a house tour and it looks like a model house, makes me feel so bad.
I think this is the best house/room tour I've ever seen. Most youtubers fill their houses with the most shiny and expensive things and brag about their rolls royce in every other video; don't get me wrong, it's fine to like expensive things but there's no need to flex on your subs. Your home is filled with pieces that actually have meaning and memories tied to them and it makes this video so easy to watch and enjoy because everything obviously has a meaning to you ❤

Such a cozy home. I was honestly expecting a fancy big mansion house with lots of big empty shiny rooms and I was like “oh another youtuber mansion” not there anything wrong with it but they’re everywhere and it’s never a homey feeling. I really love this house tour and think it’s my favorite one so far!

You look like a Victoria Secret model from one of their holiday commercial posters years ago. The only thing that’s missing is a tiny Santa hat. Such a pretty and girly look, makes me want to rock a tiny dress!

Oh girl, but that kitchen! I bought my very first house all by myself earlier this year (at age 48) and it's certainly not the grand home you have but it's beautiful and I love it and am so happy in my home, just as you are in yours. When we work hard for what we have, it's a joy to be able to share that with our family and friends (and your 1 million viewers)!!! You go girl. Your home is lovely and so are you. You're very fortunate you found a landlord who will allow you to have dogs. So many won't allow animals. Ignore the jealous haters. I'm still always shocked at how many there are. The rest of us enjoy a peek into your world. Makes you feel more real and tangible to us. Thanks for the tour of your lovely home and all the family heirlooms. Merry Christmas!

The dog! The dog!!!! Omg, SO sweet! I’m a huge animal lover and activist, and I’m so glad you have rescue dogs. it was positively joyful when he “stood up” and you had your arms around him in a big hug, and you were nonchalantly talking, then you looked down at him and gave him a big kiss! Right on his sweet little nose! Oh!! My heart!!!

Small dogs are prob good for YTers. I have a 4.5 lb chi. I'm a stay at home wife and she is with me, and ON my lap 24/7. On my lap while at the desk or sitting at the table (I put her down while eating...usually lol), small dogs could be good for home-bodies. I had bigger dogs, love them too! Just sticking up for the purse puppies, and why they may be a good fit for YTers. ✌️
I love dogs of all sizes. Small dogs are proper dogs too :/ I love my cavie
I love all dogs to!! It's just so common for the 'fashionable' handbag dogs. They're super cute but it's refreshing to see some normal looking dogs in a video!
I love all kinds of dogs and in the past I’ve had big dogs but because I’m a stay at home mum I got got a Chihuahua and a Shih Tzu because the smaller the dog is the less of a longer walk I have to take them. When I had my big dog she needed so much energy to waste 😩😂🤦🏼♀️ x

The song Khe Sanh reminds me of my father - he served in the Australian navy and it reminded him of his experiences and the experiences of many of his friends. I work in entertainment and live in the United States now, but every time I hear that song I get homesick and I miss my father… Sometimes I just listen to it to think my father!

Finally a house tour that really looks like a lived in cozy house rather than a showroom! Thanks for showing real life to us and made us feel like our homes are "normal ". Don't get me wrong. I like watching house tours for inspiration. But more often, I feel inadequate for not keeping up the "look". But who can always afford a cleaner? Not me definitely!

Your home is lovely! And I especially like that you're filling it with things you both love. That's important. Anybody can buy stuff. Fill your home with things you could stand there for 5 minutes every other day and just look at. I had to laugh when I saw your Mum, I thought what a great time for a home tour when Mum's there to make sure everything is spotless!! LOL!! Really Stephanie it's very nice and feels like a home.
