I'm doing this after doing a 3 year degree (post diploma) from Mumbai university. I can tell with first hand experience, its very exhaustive and although eligibility criteria is very flexible, it's not possible without having a solid maths background.

@@askvlogs3726 i just finished my 12th and I'll go for BTech. It's next to impossible to be able to excel in both Btech and this course simultaneously. And since the course might take 6 years, I think it's better that i prepare for GATE and pursue MTech further as Btech+Mtech is going to take me 6 years as well.
Right now I am in Foundation level in Bsc in data science from iit madras...it is not too easy to qualify exam, what other people thinks about this..its quite tough. And i am totally satisfied with this course.. Now i am proud myself that I am a student of iit madras❤️

@@ruturajmundhe4417 brother in first semester U can Manage in 20 -25 hrs in overall if ur Basic knowledge is good...bt in 2nd semester it will be very difficult to manage in this time management. By the way in Which course are u in VIT vallore..❤️
Not 10hrs a week, if you take 3-4subs it will be 30-40hrs, depending on the subject you choose and your knowledge grasping capacity it can go beyond that.

I am sure this would be done by other iits too and this would be the future of education. Private colleges ☠️☠️☠️ And there would be competition btw iits that who produces better cources and therefore better Engineers. In terms of business it's great , in terms of quality it's great and India would produce one of the best computer science students. I don't think this would be valid for other core engineering course but for computer science, data science and AI this is great and makes much more sense. Genius move my IIT Madras for early adoption..

Their is qualifier exam brother, 60k applied , 15k got selected, also as course is going on ,very few are able to pass exams, inside info from its students who got internship few days back is that 3 digit students only were able to clear one of 2 diploma level programs, and 200 something only cleared both diploma level program in data science and programming.
Those who think this degree would be a cakewalk, let me be very clear, it is not. Qualifying is easy but the courses are not. In diploma internals scoring 60/100 is tough(that too for people you qualified jee advance(DTU)). So enter only if you are ready to dedicate your time and efforts.
Currently I might get admitted to IISERK, what is the college exam dates clash with the iitm dates?? Like if they are on the same day. What to do then???
They informed that all exams are generally in weekends and if atall you have any exam coinciding that time u will not going to have re test like that so choose wisely if coincides which to give?

I presume this is not a recently made video and you recorded this before, the degree has changed from a 3 year BSc to a 4 year BS program, I'm currently in the diploma level and yes, the difficulty is steadily rising each term, but its totally worth it.
@@shubham-work bhai pakka pakka kya. Maine suna ki offline bhi enroll krna pdta hain shayd freshers ke liye ( 2022 pass outs ) Maine drop Liya tha 2 years and now I've found this course. To Maine Sept ke liye enroll kiya. Offline admission krne ki requirement nhi bolenge na
sir we have the on campus placement if you complete at least 1 or 2 diploma and we have a dedicated placement cell and we have campus access and can visit during office hours and we have a annually paradox where we stay at iit madras for 4 days
Tbh, After making it 4 year BS. They really made it a full fledged technical degrre cuz BSc wasn't so great for Masters in Technical courses. But after BS, we can get admission to Mtech program of IITM and IITK through GATE
Campus access will be there bhaiya , in events like cultural fests and tech fests we wilk be invited . So normal we will visit 2 to 3 times a year at IIT MADRAS.

Bro You missed one thing that Bs students have annual fest also at iitm campus called paradox it's 3 day fest. You should mention it And they are not allowed to take hostel but they can go campus anytime but they can't live there You will have the proper I'd card of iitm also.

@@kevstark9831 The IIT Madras classrooms are as big as auditoriums and fully air conditioned too... The huge campus is so green and amazing, the air is so clean and pollution free. U will see a whole lot of dears and monkeys on the roads. There are research centers, clubs, hotels, Mall etc too all in campus... In simple words, it's amazing 😎😎😎

I pass my class 12th in 2020 then i take one year drop for jee but couldn't clear cutoff then i take admission in private college for btech and along with btech i gave jee once again should we join college got by jee in 2022 or not if yes then does it will effect on campus placement

I have a doubt that suppose you get a score of between 50 to 70 percent in the qualifier exam which you can select only up to two courses which means that you will be able to complete the foundation level but you won't be able to enter the diploma level or the degree level as the requirement for it is to complete all the courses of the foundational level. So in such a case what are you supposed to do?
Thats not how it works...they have divided each year into 3 terms(1 term = 4 months) ....and 1st year(foundation level) has 8 courses suppose you scored 50 to 70 percent in the qualifer exam then you can select upto 3 courses in each term that means you can select 3 subject in 1st term+ 3 subject in 2nd term+ 2 subject in 3rd term= 8 course in 1 year... And if you score more than 70 percent in qualifier exam you can take upto 4 course in each term and complete foundation level in 2 terms i.e 8 months

This is the most difficult course ..... Btech is very much easy as compare to this BSC ..... Only 110 student pass the diploma level out of 8000 students...... I Prefer to do btech and get placement......

May be no because they said only who are eligible to write jee advanced Since you're unable to write ADV you might have to chose non jee way or mail them once..
The best way to get an IIT degree without exam is to become a bus driver a sweeper or a toilet cleaner or a dog in an IIT boom 💥💥 you are an IITan now.
IIT Tag is only meaningful when u have cleared JEE or GATE to go there else dont call urself an IITian....u are just having a online course from it....i dunno why IITM is rolling out such program..they should have different school for online degrees..
I am thinking to drop this year , however I had qualified for JEE Advanced this year as well, If I fill the form of IIT Madras B.Sc degree I would be eligible for the Foundation course without the Qualifier exam but will it be valid for 1 year?(3 semesters , as given on the official website for people who clear Qualifier Exam). Tbh, After making it 4 year BS. They really made it a full fledged technical degrre cuz BSc wasn't so great for Masters in Technical courses. But after BS, we can get admission to Mtech program of IITM and IITK through GATE
Campus access will be there bhaiya , in events like cultural fests and tech fests we wilk be invited . So normal we will visit 2 to 3 times a year at IIT MADRAS.

U will see a whole lot of dears and monkeys on the roads. There are research centers, clubs, hotels, Mall etc too all in campus... In simple words, it's amazing 😎😎😎

IITM मे direct admission नहीं है, पहले 4weeks का course karake exam लेते है फिर admission होता है
I have a doubt that suppose you get a score of between 50 to 70 percent in the qualifier exam which you can select only up to two courses which means that you will be able to complete the foundation level but you won't be able to enter the diploma level or the degree level as the requirement for it is to complete all the courses of the foundational level. So in such a case what are you supposed to do?
No you can still enter the diploma and complete the degree...
2 courses doesn't mean diploma and foundation.
There are total I think 10 subjects you can choose from
a person can choose 1 to 4 subjects
Thats not how it works...they have divided each year into 3 terms(1 term = 4 months) ....and 1st year(foundation level) has 8 courses suppose you scored 50 to 70 percent in the qualifer exam then you can select upto 3 courses in each term that means you can select
3 subject in 1st term+ 3 subject in 2nd term+ 2 subject in 3rd term= 8 course in 1 year...
And if you score more than 70 percent in qualifier exam you can take upto 4 course in each term and complete foundation level in 2 terms i.e 8 months

Yes,Load and burden will be there but if u can manage it is worth it but iit m bsc is not a cake walk you have to devote time and mind.

I am thinking to drop this year , however I had qualified for JEE Advanced this year as well, If I fill the form of IIT Madras B.Sc degree I would be eligible for the Foundation course without the Qualifier exam but will it be valid for 1 year?(3 semesters , as given on the official website for people who clear Qualifier Exam).
